Sorry to pee on your parade but, I'm one of many on here that never rated Wilder, right from the days when he got a shot at the title after beating TOP CONTENDER, JASON' THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS' GAVERN' to being gifted a draw against Fury, I just didn't believe with any great confidence that Fury would dominate him so convincingly. Many on here were convinced that Wilder was the second coming purely based on him beating 50 yr old, heart patient Ortizn't and useless sack of shite, Bermane Stiverne who's best win was shot to shite Arreola.

Too many were sucked in by the fact that Wilder had the ultimate get out of jail free card with that right hand whereas boxing history has shown far more often than not that elite level boxers nearly always defeat elite level punchers. I've argued til I'm blue in the face with the likes of Sepiroth Rising and Dubblechin (one and the same) that Wilder was a KO waiting to happen and there's a good 50% of posters on here that have always fealt the same thing.

Last night sucked as I learned to like Wilder. Even when he was clearly losing last night, never did I sense he was giving up mentally. He never showed fear or timidness; he doesn’t seem to have that in his DNA. He was outclassed but never broken.

Fury looked like million bucks. This type of front foot heavy, aggressive Fury I can watch any day.

Totally agree, you can't have your cake and eat it. You can't discredit a fighter, then turn around and say it's a great win for the man who beat him. Wilder, was the most dangerous Heavyweight in the world, and Fury dealt with him, great win.

Soon as he fought someone live he was found out, simple as, twist any way you like, wilder just isn't very good, which has always been glaringly obvious to anyone with, errrr.... eyesight.. Lol

You say it took a best of a generation to beat him, but who has he actually fought?

Gtfoh.. Soon as he fought anyone any good he looked absolute garbage and got beat up. Lol

Fury totally dominated the bum killer. A guy who was an obese, mentally ill drug addict who recovers and wins a belt, deserves enormous credit. The manner in which Fury dominated, only re-enforces the opinion that Wilder was a total hype job. Fury had a harder time with Wallin. You can"t deny the obvious, sometimes people get it right, sometimes they get it wrong. Wilder has crazy power but he can't box to save himself.

I thought he was giving fury full credit for beating wilder. I thought wilder was going to win and fury was a hyped up fighter.
I was wrong, fury was incredible.
Just because you were right in your estimation of fury’s skills, you don’t have to be a bad winner. it’s not like you went out and beat up wilder yourself.

Ok bud, because I've always maintained that I don't know for certain whether Canelo is innocent or not.

Like I said, a lot of Fury fanatics are acting hella moronic after last night.

Are you one of those morons over rating Fury? Lol Oh lord

I think Fury is the best Super HW right now. Beating Wilder alone didn't raise Fury's stock in my book. That would mean I thought Wilder was better than Fury. But, beating Wilder in the way Fury did, by being dedicated in camp, by being the heavier puncher, by listening to his new trainers was that of someone who wanted to be the real undisputed champion.

Fury's only real challengers are himself and AJ. Would have to favor Fury over AJ especially if Tyson remains with Steward.

Nailed it. Tbh this defeat is a far damming indicement of Wilders team than the fighter himself, his team has seen and known his flaws for years but they kept being comfortable with his power bailing him out, it is shocking how there was no plan B in the corner and I even heard his trainer tell him in the fourth round "back him up and launch the right hand", yeah, good luck doing that to a fighter who is 273 lbs.

If Wilder is serious about whatever is left of his career, he can start by firing his trainers and handlers and get a real professional boxing coach for a starters who will stop his blind love and dependence on his power

I think this is the first time Wilder fought a quality big guy who knew how to fight big and use his size. Emanuel Steward would have been damn proud. Fury showed some real cajones there, he was willing to risk taking Wilders right hand to get his own work off and he also took Wilders best punches on the chin which further lays the Fury glass jaw theory to permanent rest.

Based on AJ's effort against Ruiz in the rematch, there is no way AJ has the cajones or the ability to take the same risk against Wilder. Let's also not forget that AJ came in the rematch at 237 lbs so that he can be mobile. When AJ comes in heavy at 254 lb plus he gasses quickly and is extremely flat footed, he does not have the ability to fight big like Fury and there is no way he can replicate Furys tactics against Wilder at 250 lbs plus

I have never thought for last few years that Wilder could beat Joshua, or Fury. I have never said Wilder is a bum though always ranked him somewhere in the top five heavyweights, and after he beat Ortiz I thought he is definitely the third, or forth best heavyweight around.

I did not rank Fury as the champion though, Fury did officially retire, was away for what was possibly good for a couple of years, so any claim Fury had was lost in that time. Joshua did in my opinion become the heavyweight champion in that time, and apart from the short break when he lost to Ruiz is still the heavyweight champion to this date.

I have Joshua as champion now, Fury as number two, Wilder, Uysik and Ruiz are somewhere in the top five right now.

Joshua and Fury hopefully fight this year, not really fussed who wins, I think Fury probably will win though going by what I have seen from them both; I just hope for a good exciting fight.
