Shelley Finkel just said that he just needed a couple of stitches from a cut inside his ear, didn't even go to the hospital. So what does this tell you? Did Wilder just gas out then? he looked like a dead man walking from the 4th round on.... was that 230 pounds too heavy for him? Wish the Wilder fans would stop saying WIlder would have been better if his eardrum wasn't ruptured SMH

He was gassed from fury putting 270lbs on him, the body shots didn't hurt either. Wilder never recovered from the punch to the ear that dropped him. Brilliant game plan by Fury and his team.

Come on, Fury was crazy in the zone last night. Tranquilizer darts wouldnt have stopped him. Anyone who has competed competitively could see there was no way he (fury) was losing that fight. He looked like a crazed madman.

Wilder or anyone was getting steamrolled. I feel bad for him but gained respect for his heart (wilder).

This. Wilder's legs looked weak from the beginning. After the 1st knockdown his legs were gone. From there Fury's weight advantage, along with his ring IQ, simply wore Wilder out. In hindsight, it was a masterful plan of attack by Fury.

That and right now Bob Arum looks like a genius. And Frank Warren doesn't look to bad.

Eddie Hearn looks like an idiot. Hearn's fighter Anthony Joshua looks like a paper tiger.

Surprised there was no ruptured eardrum. Fury landed numerous rights on Wilder's left ear all night.

I'l' say this, Wilder has a better chin than I ever imagined, as Fury hit him on the chin multiple times also.

I doubt WIlder will ever be the same after such a beating. I think he has permanently lost his legs.
They were awkwardly thin to begin with, now I think their just gone.

Wilder needs to start doing road work. Both for stamina and for leg strength.

A strong base, endurance and learning to keep his left hand up will keep him in with the top level fighters and will give him the opportunities to land his right.

Wilder needs to start trying to implement what Breland was brought in to teach him, and get rid of Deas. Breland was about to leave Wilders camp a while ago due to Wilder being uncoachable and surrounded by yes men.

It was everything you mentioned combined. The ring walk took 50% out of his stamina, and despite not fighting anyone in the ring, he was getting brutalized for no reason whatsoever too. Round after round he was getting more and more tired for no reason at all!. Blood coming out of his mouth, ears and eyes even though he's completely alone in there. I see people saying the referee was on his side the whole night. I wonder and ask these people, what referee?. It's terrifying why no investigations are kicking in yet. I regularly check Alex Jones' website and can't find anything so far.

Wilder's chin did not fail him, what failed him was his lack of diversified boxing skills. Against fighters who inside he has to learn how to fight inside, throwing upper cuts, body punching, combinations. His single punch right hand was completely neutralized and he had nothing else to fall back on

Fury landed concussive pillows, the KD was big, that would probably be enough to explain it.

Wilder was not gassing early in the Frenchmen fight and he was throwing a ton of shots there and dealing with constant pressure, I don't think it's his cardio. I think the 'big guy leaning on them' is massively exaggerated in terms of wearing fighters out.

I think Fury just hurt him with the power pillows and wouldn't let up.

I also think that Fury knew he wasn't at his best for the first fight but always had so much confidence in beating Wilder that he took it anyway. He knew that he was going to steamroll him in the rematch.

I'm surprised it wasn't a ruptured eardrum. My next thought is that he was probably concussed and it is EXTREMELY irresponsible of his team not to send him to the hospital after the punishment he took.Absolutely unprofessional.

Anybody with eyes could tell he wasn't right by the end of the fight and took real punishment. Then again, his own team was upset Breland threw in the towel. It really makes me think most of his squad doesn't give a damn about him beyond being a meal ticket.
