Which other Brit heavies down the years could have finished Wilder in 7 rounds or even less?

Fury wasn't a puncher. Just because he stopped Wilder doesnt make him a powerhouse. Wilder just happened to fight a live body for the first time.
Bugner was 6-4 with with a very good jab. He would get to DW with the left all nite.

Who did he ever ko worth a mention, plus he was a lousy boxer, Wilder was a very carefully matched and managed fighter, playing to his strength which was massive. They gambled on an out of shape Fury, got caught out but made the same mistake again by thinking Tyson was the same fighter that got caught in the 12th round. Hide was fast explosive and a massive puncher, a smaller Wilder in essence with a little less power but a far superior boxer. It could go either way.

No Bugner didn`t have the reach to out-jab Wilder.

Yes he did. Wilder's chin was just exposed.

Still not many, even tho Fury took him to the cleaners and made it look so easy. Lennox, I'll definitely say, he'd have Wilder out before 7 imo.
AJ, I still think it's a 50/50 fight, and that s about it.

Similar level of puncher I’d have thought. Fury is not a big puncher and never has been. Good boxer and clever but powerful? Just decent, much like Bugner but more talented than Joe was and mentally tougher.

Bugners reach was 82” to Wilders 83” and Bugners jab was very good whereas Wilders is just fair and spasmodically used.

In fact I’d be surprised if Bugner didn’t outjab Wilder at least.

I would give Bugner an excellent chance at outpointing Wilder.

Lewis would knock Wilder out inside 7.

I've always said Joshua has the ability to do so, it just depends whether he fights the right way or played it too cautious. I think he needs to jump on Wilder early and not simply outbox Wilder cautiously, which would play into Wilder's hand. And if they ever fight, seeing how Fury did Wilder, I'm sure AJ would choose that strategy and have Wilder KO'd inside 7.

Joyce is too slow and easy to hit,and he isn't a concussive puncher . I don't think he will beat Dubois ,let alone Wilder.

You think an inch difference is the deciding factor,in a battle of jabs between Bugner and Wilder?
Bugner's jab was clearly superior to Wilder's,faster, more consistent. and more accurate.

Interesting. Doyle was a dreadful Fighter, even when he wasn't drunk. Jack London couldn't stop Freddie Mills who was only really a Super Middleweight. Jack Petersen was beaten by Light Heavyweight Len Harvey and stopped by Walter Neusel and Ben Foord.
Are you trying to make the point that you don't rate Wilder ?

Lewis would certainly have got Wilder out of there and probably earlier than the seventh. I've always fancied AJ to take him out as well due to their respective styles. Whyte would have an even chance as he too would push Wilder back although Dillian can look slow and ponderous at times. Moving forward slowly is the worst thing you could do against Wilder.
Bugner was tough and brave and had the ability to maybe outpoint Wilder but not stop him. I suspect that Bruno may just wilt under pressure rather like the Bonecrusher Smith fight.
