Only time will tell who is the best from that group of fighters. Everything can happen. Joshua bounced back defeating Ruiz and still can rock this division for a long time. Wilder can bounce back. Every heavyweight in history had difficult moments and had to recompose in order to write history. Fury won his last fight as a slight underdog. Good for him. Is it the end of Wilder? I don't think so. People are often dramatizing and exaggerating. I have read that Fury was a boxing God. I think I also read a thread Ruiz versus Mike Tyson. Y'know, it goes without saying, only the legacy at the end of their career will decide who was the best. Also, each fight is a different story. I think it is quite tight at the moment I don't see any of them being the new big deal, or the new Lennox Lewis. Motivation also plays a role. Fury was very motivated, Wilder looked passive last fight.

Obviously Wlad. He is one of the most accomplished HW’s ever.

Wlad easy. He has a great resume despite his losses and a dominant reign. Fury needs to stack up his defenses, but I feel like he will retire in the next few years. If AJ beats Fury, then I'd probably just edge him over Wlad.

Well... theres head to head, and then theres legacy.

    H2H

    1. Vitali
    2. Fury
    3. Wlad

    imo.

    Legacy/Greatness

    1. Wlad
    2. Vitali
    3. Fury (careers not over so not really fair)

    .....

It was hard for me to put Fury above Wlad head to head, but in reality, I dont think Wlad himself would do too well with a come forward, maurading Fury either. I think he would get tired and be overwhelmed late as well.... even if he managed to last the distance. I just think with Fury being herky jerky at a distance, and a marauder up close, hes just going to be a tough task for a Wlad that can be hesitant to let his hands go when he doesnt have a target, and then isnt the greatest fan of pressure and inside fighting.

So anyways, those are my rankings.

If we added AJ in there, he would be 4th in the head to head, although I suspect he can beat Fury, I will wait until he actually proves it to rate him above him head to head, and I would put him at 3 above fury in legacy, as personally I think he has a better resume.

I think Fury from the Wlad fight would be terrible match up for Vitali. Vitali actually had much more troubles against slick boxers than Wlad did, and not only Fury is slick, but he is also taller than Vitali and with much longer reach.

Wlad by a country mile. Wlad can be anywhere from 3-10 on an ATG heavy list. 11 year unbeaten streak as Hw champ. 18 title defenses against live bodies outside of the occasional mandatory (Alex leapi)

fury’s win over Wlad is better much better than Joshua’s and while I don’t rate Wilder highly he was a prime big puncher that Fury took to the woodshed.
Vitali resume is good but not great, and Joshua resume is good with chance to be great. But not Wlad level at least not in forseable future.

No way Vitali is #2 legacy wise I’d we’re being realistic.. Head to Head I’ll have him #1 but you can’t put him over Fury or even Joshua legacy wise when his championship reign is very similar to Wilder’s.. I know it’s hard to grasp but if you put their WBC reigns side by side you won’t see a difference..

    For now i see:

    1. Wlad
    2. Fury
    .
    .
    .
    3-5. Joshua, Vitali , Wilder

Vitali defended his title against higher rated fighters. Not many unranked in his reign.

Outside of Byrd, who did a prime'ish Vitali get troubled by that was slick?

That being asked... I dont doubt that their fight would be close and competitive... in fact its a great great matchup, I wouldnt argue too hard against a Fury win, Vitali isnt a speedster so he might find landing on Fury difficult, I could see a Fury close decision I suppose.

I would choose Vitali. Wlad has a better legacy and Fury is making a case for himself but I cannot forget how well Vitali did against Lennox. I feel Vitali had the most raw talent of the 3.

    Corrie Sanders
    Danny Williams
    Samuel Peter
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Chris Arreola
    Kevin Johnson
    Albert Sosnoski
    Shannon Briggs
    Odlanier Solis
    Tomasz Adamek
    Dereck Chisora
    Manuel Charr

Again head to head I think he beats everybody post Lewis but his WBC reign is no different than Wilder’s..

Vitali was dominant against overmatched and overwhelmed opponents.

Wladimir the same but he did it for longer.

Fury defeated TWO champions who had 10+ straight succesful defences on their record.

Fury would have messed with Vitali's head too much.
