BEFORE THE FIGHT : "Fury's had a terrible camp" & "They are setting up excuses for when he loses" & "His legs are hurt" & "Eddie Hearn said ............" AFTER THE FIGHT : "Wilder injured his legs"
Complete BS from everybody in the run up to this fight. I'm actually really sick of all the click bait and lies surrounding the big fights.
Yeah, same here. All the armchair psychology is ridiculous. We even had people here saying it was obvious Fury was "hiding" and "scared" because he came to the press conference wearing a hood and shades. For some here that was a sure sign the writing was on the wall, Fury was going down. Seriously. Because he was wearing a hood and sunglasses ! Obviously he was getting KO'd ... and he knew it ! LOL
I feel like with all the new platforms and podcasts (which are generally a good thing), personal opinion becomes rumour becomes fact becomes story. The network screening the fight should focus on quality not quantity, like the 247 shows, rather than these ridiculous 90 second clips which merge with all the other sound bites out there
So, now who’s making the excuses? Are you ‘unbearable’ Wilder fanboys going to commit to defending his leg excuse? Or his ear excuse? Or his outfit excuse? Or there were lots of issues coming into this fight excuse?
Well I'm not making any? I'm made some predictions and got them wrong, came on, held my hands up and I'm even wearing an Arsene Wenger avatar.. the result of a Wilder Fury bet I lost. I don't really know what people want me to say now? Also I haven't defended Wilder whatsoever, I haven't seen anybody that has to be honest. But I'll take the hammer, the abuse, but if it makes any Fury fans happy.. I apologise to everybody I upset with my prediction, I was wrong.
Fair play to you. and ..... It's not too late to get on board the Fury train. Maybe you can't stand him or his fans .... but he might just turn out to be the best we've had from the UK.
