You knob slobbery need to stop. Bayless is the worst ref ever. He was told, the second Wilder got into the least bit of trouble to stop the fight. Wilder's corner was in on it too. Wilder almost dropped Fury with that left hook at the end and probably was going to finish Fury if Bayless hadn't jumped in. On a level playing field, Wilder mops the floor with the Baffoon Fury. Singing in the ring like a tone def fool!
Why ? Because he beat old shot wlad and got a KO against the guy who can’t box ?? Lewis, bowe , tyson, wlad, Vitali all beat Fury . Most likely AJ will beat him too.
When has anyone ever seen a 6'9" 273lb. fighter move like Fury, and with stamina? And with defense! Fury was cheated by the judges in the first fight, I had it 10 rounds to 2. This time Fury fought a different style, he can box or slug it out!
He looked very impressive in his great win and was the better man, but it is too soon to assume he is the greatest of all time. The same has been said of many before Fury. It reminds me of Andy Ruiz vs the all time greats following his shocker of kayoing Joshua. But a Snicker eating champion did not win the rematch. I would laugh if I read the thread, Tyson Fury vs Prime Muhammad Ali, 1964-1967, based on his great win over Wilder.
Fury may only be 31 years old but the way he lived his life from 2016-2017 must have added YEARS to his body. He is probably closer to mid to late 30s in age terms and phsyiological functionining. His size will always bail him out though, just like Foreman's power always kept him competitive until his late 40s.
As far as we know, Deontay Wilder is the sole threat to Tyson Fury, including any boxer from any era Tyson Fury boxing purposed 6'09" frame & stylistic versatility makes it impossible to outbox him, the only way to go is to attack his CMD ala Deontay Wilder RD12 in a much high risk - high reward game-plan, no one can pull it off except a higher-stamina Deontay Wilder coming in at 210s, taking more risks & disregarding all boxing fundamentals, as any boxing based plan, will play right into Fury Advantages (this will be obvious, if the more orthodox Joshua tries to box Fury) Sugar Hill the Smart-Alec knows this, that why he wants to retire on Top. His plan will work vs other smaller framed boxers, but it will not be fail-proof vs Deontay Wilder, who will not stop trying until he catches Fury clean & puts him out. We can see the difference between Deontay Wilder & an over-whelmed champion _Joshua and other champions who got overwhelmed & took themselves out of the fight in a bad night_
What ?!? Bayless was on Wilder's side the entire fight How much money did you lose lol Wilder is very limited, he should've lost the belt in 2018. I think his team deserves a lot of credit for getting him this far and making him a very rich man, not the other way around you fool You're usually not a bad poster, what happened lol
Everyone is jumping the gun.. Saturday was a great performance by Fury not taking away from that.... but Wilder is and ALWAYS had been a fraud... he merely got exposed by a legit contender AJ vs Fury would be the REAL litmus test of who the best is. So reserve your judgement till Fury fights a CAPABLE opponent who is much more than just a one trick pony.
He beat one-trick pony Wilder. Let's not get carried away. The fight before he looked like garbage and struggled to beat the great Otto Wallin.
Some people need to calm down, I've always been behind fury and always said he was better than ppl always gave him credit for.. But, let's see him actually defend a major title before we start going mad yuh! He did only beat wilder and with such bad boxing skills once that right was smothered and taken out of action he was always going to be easy to beat, I always said you need to bulldoze wilder. Don't need to spout essays like some either, straight to point. Simple!
It's too early to judge where Fury ranks but he hasn't achieved anything yet to suggest that his name would be above Ali or Louis. I would say though, if he continues to evolve and execute strategy as he has throughout his career, he may well be seen as one of the very best.
