Not a big fan of either Fury or Wilder but I do respect them. And I still do. I think it’s time that we all give props to Wilder for not quitting and taking his beating like a man. He fought the best he could and he lost to the better man who had a great game plan, no shame in that. Happens in boxing. I feel like people just love to kick a man while he’s down but he lost to a great fighter and gave him props. It’s not like he lost to a low ranking fighter. Hopefully he recovers soon. There’s still plenty of good fights for him, just needs to finally go back to basics and make adjustments.
So far he actually has to "take it like a man". He has cringe excuses, from his team albeit. If he come out and honestly says, best man won I ****ed up and will come back with better gameplan. Then yeah, people would respect him more. It's more his team tbh. It's cringe.
Deontay wanted a body on his record and ended up getting bodied. I appreciate Wilder for making this happen for me to celebrate and appreciate.
He should go back to basics? Funniest thing with that post is he can't even do the basics well... Lmao... This content is protected
This thread is unnecessary. I'm sure many people enjoyed watching Wilder take a beating for all his arrogance, his talk about having a body on his record... his ego was on cloud 9. Dillian must have orgasmed during that fight... seeing Wilder get his comeuppance Nothing to be appreciated about Wilder except that he got a chin and he is game. Other than that... he has no real fan support because he is an idiot.
Bump. Even though he lost Wilder has huge heart. Big respect to the Bronze Bomber, he really has no quit in him and there’s no shame in losing to a fighter like Fury.
Amazing, best of trilogy of fights. Was expecting 3rd round KO win from Fury before the fight. Wilder like Usyk really intiated the 1st round. Had it even till the 6th. Fight of the year so far for me. This Wilder can best Joshua.
People can hate Wilder all they want but he really went out on his shield. He’s got nothing but respect despite losing.
I've never been a fan of Deontay Wilder, but I've gained some new respect for him tonight. He showed he's a warrior - there's no quit in him.
He definitely fought his heart out. Good on Fury, who definitely cemented his status as the Only Champion imo.
