Agreed. If Tyson can't make the Joshua fight happen next for him he should defend the title against the rightful long standing number 1 contender whyte.

Maybe Whyte needs another year... but sometimes when oppurtunities like this land on your desk you must take it... Whyte has been through enough battles to earn his shot at the title... and whoever happens to be holding the title... is the man he will have to face.

I think he needs to get through Povetkin because Whyte know Pov is still dangerous and he will train properly for it... and get back to fighting shape... then he can pursue Fury... because Povetkin will keep him alert... Whyte isnt stupid enough to fight Pov out of shape.

Just give Whyte his shot! Win or lose... he deserves it

Fury vs. Whyte or AJ next is good by me. No need for a third fight with Wilder. Let's be honest, Fury won both times.

I'm not sure Fury will fight Whyte after Wilder III.

Remember Joshua fought guys like Molina, Breazeale and Takam as defences, not to mention Wilder's fringe cherry picks. Fury could well opt for fringe men.

Fury would beat Whyte very easily

It would be a mismatch and resemble the second Chisora fight

Whyte does deserve his title shot, but make no mistake. Fury and AJ would box his head off

Whyte does deserve his shot. The way the WBC have treated him has been a disgrace.

I don't really like this fight as its clear. and obvious that Fury is way too good for him but if I were to choose as to watching a 3rd Fury v Wilder fight or Fury v Whyte, I'd have to say that I'd rather watch Fury v Whyte.

JUST LIKE THAT.... Whyte is above Wilder in WBC rankings.

    Wilder - nobody

    Whyte - Interim WBC champ.

How the tables have turned... I PRAYED for this day to come when Whyte is in the driving seat... making Wilder wait like a *****

Wilder aint getting another chance at the title.

It'd be fun to watch with Fury being the agressor. If Fury boxes like he did in Wilder I or against Wlad, It'd look like an easy sparring session for him.

    Another hard opponent in Povetkin?

Are you having a laugh with that statement? Sasha is beyond shot.

Whyte needs to face Ruiz or Wilder next, not another old man or inexperienced young one.

Let us not forget Whyte turned down a rematch with Joshua prior to Joshua's first fight with Ruiz. Whyte has no one to blame but himself. If he gets lucky and lands a fight with Fury, Fury will systematically beat the living shyte out of Whyte.

If Povetkin is beyond shot then how is he beating guys like Hughie and derailing hype trains like Hunter?
