When I saw this subject matter, this was the first fight I thought of. I recall after watching the bout, saying to myself, "This was one of the most satisfying fights I've ever seen."
This thread should be renamed The Vinny Pazienza Thread! Otherwise I enjoyed seeing Terry Norris put on his face by Simon Brown after Norris questioned Brown's courage. Ray Leonard by Duran later Hearns. Tyson Roger Mayweather against Chavez. Roger was originally known as the Mexican Assassain until Julio showed up.
Macho Camacho beating both Leonard and Duran. Yeah they were both older than Jesus by then but still it was good to see Macho man being in the spotlight again.
I didn't dislike the guy at all but Najib Daho was very classless after he beat Pat Cowdell. His supporters invaded the ring when Pat was on the deck and Daho talked about Pat being a cry baby. When he entered the ring for the rematch, Naj made a gesture of digging a grave. Probably shouldn't be proud of it but I enjoyed Pat giving Daho a lesson in the darker arts of misuse of the head and elbows, roughing him up and stopping him.
Fury-Wilder II is my #1. Hate Wilder and thought he had the most ridiculous and irrational fans. Maidana-Broner was a beaut too.
Beat me to it. That paragraph about Tyson in against Lewis was beautiful, I checked to see if he wasn't quoting some author.
Not all are thrashings but the thrill of victory was just, too, sweet. RJJ beating Toney Randall beating Chavez Hopkins beating Trinidad Margarito beating Cotto (I know I know, but I won money) Sanders beating Wlad Mosley beating DeLaHoya I Pavlik beating Taylor
