If Fury fought Joshua like he did Wilder on Saturday, I believe Joshua is favourite - he has a very decent arsenal of punches and can deliver power at speed, far less predictable and basic than Wilder. If Fury fights like he did in the first Wilder fight, or against Klitschko, mainly safety first and just picking off the very best opportunities, I believe Fury is favourite by a slim margin.

    Joshua isn't a boxer he's a bodybuilder ffs
Have you ever seen him fight?

Fury could be 40 stone and would still have better "boxing" stamina than the juicer

Sure Juicy J might run a faster marathon, but as soon as he gets punched in the melon he panics and gasses straight away.

He is like a bloke who can't swim that has been chucked in the middle of the ocean.

i agree Wilder would destroy the Juicer too, Wilder still probably beats Fury in the rematch tbf.

Less predictable? He's a ****en robot, a big bodybuilding robot.
Wilder does weird ****, he doesn't even know what he's doing half the time.

Fury made Wilder think too much, and Wilder isn't a thinker. Wilder is better off just going for blood,

Juicy J is a poor mans Klitschko, just basic but has a ton of physical attributes.Notably size and speed.
Obviously size isn't in his favour and neither is speed so he's basically ****ed lol

Wlad was no good as the smaller slower man, his b level protege won't be either.

I'd still roll with Fury. AJ is pretty stiff and I don't think he trusts his chin at all. He would fight skittish against Fury IMO.

I will say that he does have a better chance at clipping Fury if Fury bumrushes him more than Wilder. AJ can short his punches up, he doesn't need distance to throw his shots, like Wilder.

Still I think he gets mauled and stopped in a similar fashion to what happened to Wilder.

Joshua's style is being a poor man version of Klitschko.

Wilder while limited technically is much more awkward and unpredictable than Joshua imo.

Tough pick and the fact that I want Joshua to win might color my judgement, but I would favour Joshua if Fury fights aggressively like he did on Saturday. He still didn't really convince me on mid-range, it's just that Wilder so poor at that distance.

If Fury switches it up, though... Boxes most of the time but now and then goes on the attack to keep Joshua guessing. Tough one to call.

I feel like I'm on another planet here sometimes. AJ appears to me to be a very limited boxer who uses his physicality to great results. That's not going to be a strength against someone 6 foot 9. AJs attacks are always reasonably straight forward and predictable, there is a chance he sparks out Fury but that's in the 10 - 20% range.

I feel AJ is renowned as something of a technician on here. I just don't see it.

AJ gasses in every fight even when he wins...

He spit his mouth piece out and quit against a late sub who was paid to loose......and changed his entire fighting style to beat a even fatter version of Ruiz who trained full time at a Taco stand.

Fury is not going to bum rush the Bodybuilder, its going tobe movement and flickering jabs until the stiff zero head movement AJ gasses and it will end up similar to the first Ruiz fight just later, zero punch resitance while grasping for air

The pre-Wlad AJ *might* have had a sniff. The post-Wlad, safety-first AJ, less so. And the post-Ruiz petrified marathon runner AJ, even less than that.

Most of the things AJ can bring to the table to trouble Fury are defined by how he used to box before Wlad cracked his chin. A front foot combination fighter is something he used to be, and that is as close to Fury's kryptonite as I can envisage.

But his pathological fear of being stopped again left him with two basic options: 1. jab and grab, or 2. box and move. And how exactly does he do either of these better than Tyson?

I don't necessarily rate Fury that high but i find it annoying seeing so many boxing fans trying to give other heavyweights credits by association.
Joshua might very well beat Wilder also but we'll have to see them in the ring first.

Fury said he would knock out Wilder, and most people laughed.

If the AJ fight happens and he says the same thing, would you take him seriously?

Fury for me does the same to Joshua.

Ahhhh. I've underestimated Fury so many times even though I know he has the attributes to give any HW a tough night. I thought Klitschko would've knocked him out and also thought Wilder would KO him in both fights (despite being a fan of Fury). And here again, I feel like Joshua would be too much for Fury to handle. Maybe when the fight happens -- I'll be wrong... again!

I don't think I'm alone in saying Joshua brings more to the table than Wilder ever did. Outside of his punching power, Wilder had almost no skills. Joshua brings BOTH the power and skills to match.

I do believe styles makes fight but I don't agree with your analysis of how the styles play out against one another.

I think Joshua 9 times out of 10 fights, KO's Wilder. He does all the things Fury implemented against Wilder. He steps in with the jab, he presses forward, he utilises an extended left hand to prevent an opponent from rushing him.

I think Fury beats Joshua probably 7 times out of 10 fights. Joshua poses different problems to Fury with better boxing skills, though obviously not enough to out box Fury and a more multi faceted offense that doesn't just rely on a big right hand, plus he does fight well on the inside and could cause Fury problems up close. But I think Fury's movement, size and reach I think will ensure he keeps Joshua on the outside for long periods and when he does get in, his slick defence with his ability to slip and roll will keep him safer than most who get in close with Joshua.

Remember how Savon danced around Joshua and picked him off in the Olympics? Recall how Joshua struggled to close the range on Takam at times, he isn't great against a mover and Fury is the best mover he's faced and with his size as well, I think it will be too much for Joshua to overcome. But I will add if anyone can walk down Fury and break him down it's Joshua, it will not be an easy fight for Fury at all, I expect Fury to be tested like never before.

Prior to them fighting I would of said Wilder would give Fury the most problems, because of his size, speed, awkwardness and ability to end a fight with one shot. He would get out boxed worse than Joshua vs Fury, but he could potentially surprise Fury with something out of the blue and that's what we saw in the first fight. But now Fury has added to his skills set and learned to sit down on his shots and press behind a stiff jab and counter more, basically utilising some of Joshua's strengths and that's seen him disarm Wilder to the point it's no longer a competitive match up and a mismatch much like Joshua/Wilder.

If Wilder came in at 209 again, he would have gassed out MUCH EARLIER against a 273 pound Fury...
