Both were rematches of fights that ended in controversy, and it also ended with the superior boxers (Ward, Fury) stopping the better punchers (Kovalev, Wilder). Which fight were you more impressed with and which was the bigger win in your opinion?
Every Kovalev loss he comes up with excuses. You have to be a fan of his to believe that junk or you just dislike Ward.
Even someone as blind and stupid as you should be able to see Ward's low blows right before the stoppage...
Fury hands down. Coming from substance abuse and weighing 350 lbs, he did something incredible. Also what controversy did you see in the HW fight ? Wilder was getting beat the F out, Breland saved his ***, he was about to get laid out because the ref wouldn't have dared to stop it
Exactly why is this so hard for people to understand? Ward is the greater fighter, pure, plain and simple. He still lost to Kovalev...
Or just watch Ward nutshot him the whole fight and for the finish. Thing is Ward could have stopped him legit and probably would have but for whatever reason he took the easy way.
Ward TKO8 and I dont think it's even close. Both Ward and Kovalev -- at the time of their fights -- were significantly better p4p fighters than Fury and Wilder.
Kovalev pulled off the best win of the 2010's decade. By a fairly wide margin actually. I don't think any other win really compares with it favorably. Too bad he was robbed.
