Been saying it for years. Wilder is a fraud. It saddened me to see how many gullible posters were on here and in classic section that bought into this guy. I guess the old adage is true just keep repeating something and people will believe it. he is not a great athlete, he can’t box, his career was carefully managed better than anyone I’ve seen. He was marketable- USA has not had a relevant heavyweight since the K bro’s suffocated the division. So here they were with someone with the height and reach to market just keep feeding him stiffs and guys that will accentuate his positives (one big punch a loaded up right hand) that can’t get out of the way.
fury who was chosen to be the next patsy - boxed his ears off and then realized this Guy can’t box and now I’ll show he can’t Handle pressure either. Thank goodness this clown-show is over.

It’s not so much his chin it’s his overall lack of fundamentals that prevents him from evading or rolling with the punches, his chin is always up in the air with his hands down low. Put yourself in the wrong spot too much and it doesn’t matter how much resistance you have

Because he was one of the most protected fighters on the planet. Look at his first 5 title defenses. They were a laughable joke. How long did it take this Glass Jawed Fraud to actually fight a Mandatory? It was years

So you're saying his title reign was a large number of defences against subpar opposition? Maybe so, but that also proves he doesn't have a glass jaw, because people with glass jaws get stopped by inferior fighters. In 10 or so fights, one of them would have cracked it....

Look at the opposition. You think Eric Molina or Duhaupas, or Szpilka, totally shot Arreola, Washington were going to do anything? I had never even heard of Szpilka, Duhaupas, or Molina and didn't know where they dug those bums up from and I follow Boxing pretty closely. The two best opponents Wilder fought (Ortiz, Fury) he struggled mightily with. You don't think there is a reason for that?

Yes, the reason was... they were better than the others you listed. Like I say, a glass jaw can be cracked by lesser fighters, and as you pointed out, they didn't. His jaw isn't great but it's not glass....

Imagine your thread about something improbable being resurrected after nine years. That's as close as most of us losers will ever get to attaining immortality. Excuse me, just gonna go and start "Golovkin Will Take A DIVE Against Rigondeaux, You Heard It Here First".

Yeah, it was really bizarre how many people bought into Wilder's con game. ANY objective boxing fan could see how padded his record was and how carefully his management selected his competition after he was moved into contention. As I said many times, he fought worse opposition for far longer than just about any fighter I've ever seen who was thought to be a "prospect."

And, as I said, there was a REASON for this, and now everyone knows - Wilder couldn't take a punch and his management knew it.

That doesn't disprove my point?

If he was glass jawed someone other than the number 1 fighter in the division would have dropped him. Honestly, you guys are so trigger happy with this.

I’ve been saying this for quite some time...

Admittedly his team did incredibly well to hide it, but it was inevitable for Wilder to be exposed to the masses.
• Hurt against journeyman Molina in round 3 and his legs buckled
• Hurt badly by Ortiz in their first fight. Had a doctor step in for no reason to give him 15 seconds to regather himself.
• Wilder was put down by the limited Harold Sconiers - Not long after the video was wiped clean from YouTube. Don't believe me? Look it up. https://i.imgur.com/Eogkara.png
• KO'd by Evgeny Romanov. Not just one punch either. He was stunned multiple times by the shorter fighter.
• Hurt by Artur Szpilka via a jab
• Hurt by David Haye in sparring multiple times with 16oz gloves on
• Stunned by Gerald Washington

His chin isn't great. As @Mendoza said in a previous thread, he was been managed and marketed incredibly well and the casuals soak it up.

Put him in with someone with fast hands and can take a punch. Wilder is in real trouble... I have said for a long time, Usyk, Ruiz and Parker cause Wilder all sorts of trouble.

Any boxer (especially KO artists) is expected to get stopped at one point, Wilder Chin is actually Elite level. He is 44 fights into his career & he was stopped once via corner stoppage.

This thread is an excellent Diagnostic marker for Spinelss-Sadism

Spineless-Sadism is best described by Theordore Millon as if he was reading this thread!

Spineless sadism : insecure, bogus, and cowardly; venomous dominance and cruelty is counterphobic; weakness counteracted by group support; public swaggering; selects powerless scapegoats.

Deontay Wilder doing good work, helping society identify the Spineless-Sadistic weak men...lurking among us
