Deas dropped the ball big time. First arguing against the stoppage, throwing Breland under the bus, and then with the pethatic excuses. As trainer, you're supposed to tell your fighter not to make excuses and get on with training, not make the excuses for him.

With all the yes men around him, looks like Breland is the only one who cares about Wilder's well being and his career.

Breland also seems like a really nice guy too, great patience as a trainer. Id hope other fighters see this and take him as a trainer because he was an u believable fight.
Deas looks like a complete idiot tbh

All he does is win. What's wrong with team fury?
He fights to his opponents level he has been like that for 12 years.

This is actually the worst excuse I've heard by a boxer.

I haven't read through the full thread but surely no one has defended this excuse lol

I find this excuse absolutely laughable,it was Wilders choice to wear the outfit but is now bleating on about it,makes David Haye's toe problem seem plausible.

    This is embarrassing from Wilder.

Take defeat like a man, you were clinically beaten by the better fighter.

At least Wilder didn’t claim someone poisoned him like Wlad did when Lamont Brewster knocked him out. :risas3:

Wilder has claimed that his 18kg outfit ruined his chances of defeating Fury.

Let’s put that into perspective. 18kg is equal to:
    • The average weight of a 5 year old child
    • 25 iPads
    • Less than a Border Collie
    • Less than a single Olympic plate
That mere 18kg is then carried by his whole 104+kg frame for less than 20 minutes.

Does he really think his fans are as gullible as he is?

I feel ridiculous for posting this, but that is the level this ‘warrior’ has stooped to.

Just for reference, David Tua used to run the hills of Auckland with a 25kg weighted vest, 3x a week. But bambi can’t walk with 18kg for a few minutes?

I’d hate to see him train with an altitude mask on.

I once respected Wilder for getting to where he did on such a limited skill set, but this is disgusting.

For the sport of boxing I do hope that Fury denies the rematch, because this guy is a joke.

Someone put that idea into his peanut brain. I am guessing one of his many yes-men and fluffers that he has in his corner.

Maybe I should sue the Airforce for letting is wear ceramic plate armour for 14 to 16 hours a day during the Kosovo war. It definitely will have destroyed all of us, if not even a heavyweight beltholder can cope with that kinda weight for 20 minutes.

He is just looking to try and hype a third fight and come out with any BS,as he knows nobody gives him a prayer in a 3rd fight

Wilder is looking to cash out and will come in looking to get lucky with his right hand, but knows deep down that Fury is too good

My only worry would be that Fury underestimates him and fights down to his level and gets caught cold

hopefully his trainer keeps him motivated
