This is unbelievable. Surely he thought this through in his head and realised how utterly ridiculous it would sound? If he actually recognised the mistakes he made in the fight and tried to rectify them he might actually stand a slight chance in the rematch. He’s just outright humiliating himself with all this nonsense. And it is truly disrespectful to Fury as well not giving him any credit. Wilder showing his true colours after defeat here. No doubt some people on here will defend this crap.

Can't be too hard on wilder for coming up with or believing this laughable nonsense. He's as dumb as a bag of rocks, so it's not like he can help it. He's easily fooled and manipulated and sadly Mark has paid the price for looking out for him. Ironic that the only MF in his team looking out for him is made a scapegoat and fired. He treated Lou DiBella in similar fashion. The guys job is to make him rich, so he gets $120m from DAZN for the Joshua fight plus his mandatory, wilder thanks him by refusing the deal, firing him and taking peanuts instead. He is an incredibly naive, deluded and dumb individual.

    The uniform is a problem.

Not the weight but what it represents.

He has gotten too concerned with the side show and playing dress up.

Not focused on the fight at hand.

It's mindset. Fury came in with a search and destroy mindset.

It was obvious from their facial expressions before the bell rang.

Wilder did not want to be there. Like Joshua didn't want to be there the first Ruiz fight.

Wilder did not have his head in the game.

Can't believe he is going along with this excuse lmao, I would feel like such a prat if it was me.

Was a great costume tho, will be interesting to see his next ring walk.

    Extremely bizarre comments from Wilder.

Most are glad he got beat for wearing that stupid suit anyway and if in anyway he, as a professional athlete weighing over 230lbs was injured by carrying 40lbs extra for a few minutes then he should retire.

He is obviously clinging onto anything to have reason to cash out in a trilogy fight. Should not be allowed after such a savage beatdown.

18KG on the back is easy for an unskilled-laborer with thick legs, not the same for a stream-lined lanky Deontay Wilder (who performs best at 200s). This loss, will help Deontay Wilder be more focused & discard everything (small & big) that didn't help win this fight, making a list of reasons for the defeat is the natural response. As it is the only way to find out how to improve in the next coming, otherwise it will just be a repeat.

    @eltirado

Didn’t read because you’re already on ignore :cheer:

I’m assuming some nonsense about how it was justified and Fury will get KOd in the 3rd fight.

Why didn't he just take it off? Surely he could tell if it was too heavy as soon as he put it on.

I understand that 18 kilograms of entrance costume is bothering him and made him uneasy.

But what I am asking is this : who is the idiot that gave the permission to let this idea passed ?

    Sure is!

“He didn’t hurt me at all, but the simple fact is that my uniform was way too heavy for me,” Wilder told Yahoo Sports.

“I didn’t have no legs from the beginning of the fight. In the third round my legs were just shot all the way through. A lot of people were telling me, ‘it looked like something was wrong with you.’ Something was, but when you’re in the ring you have to bluff a lot of things.”

Not sure what was worse, the black power entrance or the excuse. Eitherway, he got his ass beat by a whiteboy!!!!! Lol.
