He’s been emasculated in front of his whole world! The same mentality that demands all video evidence of his previous knockdowns is deleted now dictates that he must find excuses for his humiliation at the hands of Fury! All these excuses are part of a healing and coming to terms process, they may help him in the early stages but long term he’ll accept the reality and be ok with it. You only need to look at his demeanour in the dressing room after the fight. He just sat in his chair in a trance, unmoving, not speaking, not looking around and not acknowledging anyone else was even in the room. He sat that way for what seemed like hours! The concerned faces of those who do actually care for him tell their own story! Unlike many before him, I think Wilders whole self worth was invested in his status as World Champion, unbeaten and also in his Bronze Bomber persona. It’s going to be very hard for him to reconcile and come to terms with that being taken away He needs to find piece of mind about it. I hope he gets genuine support and proper care to help him absorb what just happened to him.
Imagine what his ass is going to be like when he takes the third fight and gets steam rolled again. He will be done. Crazy how quick the star can fall.
Wilder will recover physically, the bloody mess made it all look much worse than it is. He may suffer more mentally. Calling himself the baddest man on the planet, calling fury featherfisted, saying that he saw fury worried and nervous and then he got easily overran by Fury. I think this will humble Wilder and bring him down to earth. Dont think we will hear many BS interviews from him anymore.
There were numerous shots of both dressing room after the fight, every time they went to Wilders he was in the pose I described and looked like he hadn’t moved an inch.
Ah okay, I locked off after Wilders post fight chat in the ring. Was 6.30 AM for us and I needed some sleep lol Ill have to find the footage.
Most boxers get beat @ some point,, I just think he needs to stay away from Fury as he's got Wilders number.
WTF are you talking about! How much of a moronic, pretentious imbecile do you need to be to write that?
Hopefully he reverts back to what he was like before he won the WBC belt. He was friendly and likeable, I believe that is the true Deontay Wilder, I think it was a big mistake to create his fake over the top alter ego, turned many people including myself off him.
