Do you think Wilder will recover and bounce back?

Be honest, do you think Wilder has the mentality and toughness to bounce back, considering the magnitude of the loss and the outpour of excuses he's been dishing out lately? Some of his excuses and dishonesty on the loss is just ridiculous and he's starting to show his true colors. It's hard for me to see him fully recover after a beating like that and being in denial on why he lost.

No. Wilder has tremendous power and that is what he relies on. It has got him by in the era, but he's lacking in the fundamentals and mental game to bounce back. The excuses coming from him shows the lack of intelligence he would need to even begin to correct himself. He will fire the only corner man that he could possibly learn from and still show up to fights looking for the big punch to end it. He doesn't have it in him to change and adapt. The beating he took from Fury will also make him more hesitant and has probably cracked his chin for good. I look for him to lose to lesser competition after Fury dismantles him once again.

    No.
He doesn't seem to have the mentality of the brain power to deal with it.
His head trainer Jay Deas is a moron too.
I don't think his promoter Shelly Finkel cares much, will just throw him with Fury for one last cash out.

The only guy who might save him is his adviser/manager/promoter Al Haymon who might see some way back to a winning way for his investment here. ie, that means not taking the Fury fight.

If he takes the rematch? No. If he tried to rebuild sensibly? Yep.

No, he's a mental weakling and a physical one too whose puny little chicken legs can't bear the weight of a cosplay costume. AJ has to lug about 100lbs in muscle about and Fury 75lbs of flab.

He shouldn't take the rematch this year. He should fight a couple of warm ups against softer opponents, then fight Fury again in 2021.

But because he's badly advised by Deas and badly promoted by Finkel, they will cash him out with the rematch next and that will probably be his last fight.

Yeah how about Povetkin next? Those two have unfinished business.

I think he can. But needs to take his time to come back against lesser opponents to work on technique defense learn how to fight off the back foot.
He is 35. Time is not on his side.

He will probably take the Rubber Match.

as it is a lot of money. Cash out.

Yes, Povetkin is 40 now so Wilder might be interested. But I think even the current faded version of Povetkin would beat Wilder.

Someone softer like Alexander Dimitrenko, Amir Mansour or Sam Peter would be better.

I only have a youtube education on psychology, but at the moment I am looking at Fury and Wilder less in terms of having strong/week mental game, and more like they both have personality disorders. I think it's probably extremely difficult if not impossible for Wilder to accept responsibility for that fight. There's nothing you could say to convince him he was responsible.

He could fire Breland and get someone else who could possibly help him improve, but Breland is definitely going to shoulder the blame from Wilder and I suspect will demonised after he gets the boot. I don't think he needs to realise he's at fault to bounce back though. He could just carry on like he has his whole life talking that mad ****.

Unfortunately once the blueprint is out on how to beat a guy then everybody else wants a piece of the action. Dylan Whyte and AJ will now stop Wilder by vicious KO if they ever fight.

If he goes back to his steady diet of washed up opponents and cans, he can stick around for a while. I don’t see him beating this version of Fury but he’s proven he can KO second tier guys.

Unless they are ready to cash out, I’d definitely keep him away from the big Gypsy and heavy gimp costumes.
