In Boxing Frame/Height/Range Matters, Lots of folks assume an excellent Small guy can magically make reach disappear, they will just look vulnerable & get called bums by team DKSAB. The best boxers P4P don't look like body builders or Snickers models. The best Athletic Heavyweight so far is Deontay Wilder, delivering a Right hand that the primitve Heavyweights have no answer for, we are not even modeling after Thomas Hearns...Scale Up Marvin Hagler & see how Tall he is supposed to be at 200lbs

Thomas Hearns is 185cm at 147lbs
Scale up that model to 200lbs (185x1.36) you will get 251cm at 200lbs

Marvin Hagler is 177cm at 160lbs
Scale up that model to 200lbs (177x1.25) you will get 221cm at 200lbs

Even a Scaled up Marvin Hagler is still (thinner) than a hypothesized 6'09" Cruiser (nightmare for all heavyweights), the Heavyweight is literaly under the control Tyson Fury whose only threat is Deontay Wilder, other than that you have Andy Snickers Ruiz & the Body builder, Cruisers, Manuel Charr & Oquendo

LOL man you are embarrasing yourself, just calm down because its not a linear scale, its cubic... when you get taller you dont just grow vertically... you get wider, your limbs are longer etc etc

It doesnt matter who you are, or what your build is... 200 pounds at 6 ft 9 is anorexic... not athletic

No one is saying boxer has to be bodybuilder in body composition... there is a place between skinny and bodybuilder called athletic.

Hughie Fury for example is 6 ft 6 he would struggle to make cruiser.

NBA players are supposed to be athletic right? 6'9 and 200 is just not the average weight for that height... and those guys are lean enough already.

Hence Scaled up, its surprising you because you didn't know how mediocre & out of shape Obese Dillian Whyte is, now you know. Obviously you don't trust me, so go ask any Elementary school kid to scale up Marvin Hagler to 200lbs & see how tall he will be.

Lets Scale Down Dillian Whyte down to Welter & see how short he will be. How much Dillian Whyte weighs now?

Ok basically, you are confusing about a dozen different variables... you can't scale these things it's difficult without a computer algorithm.

Everyone is built differently.... bone density... fat levels.... frame size (medium/small/large), ectomorph, endomorph, mesomorph, limb length (i.e. arm length), muscle mass etc...

Whyte is an endomorph, large frame, big bones, high fat levels... when he is "in shape" he is around 247... not the leanest... but acceptable body fat levels for a HW. He could get ripped and lose another 17 pounds... but why? Sometimes fat is a good thing... it helps you go longer in the ring because muscle burns energy very fast... it also gets clogged with lactic acid making it fatigue early.. it also add torque and allows you to bully your opponent

Then you have muscle fibre types... type 1, type 2, type 2a.. etc fast twitch/vs slow twitch.... Whyte has a mixture... Wilder is mostly fast twitch... Fury is more slow twitch... each fibre type weighs different and looks different

You cannot compare different people by their weight and height... everyone carries weight differently you cannot scale people like that.

But based on the average of everybodies builds at 6 foot 9, 200 pounds would be considered underweight... even if you have small bones and very low fat and a small frame

Holy! Aydamn...193cm Dillian Whyte came in at 271 lbs,

so we scale that down to Middleweight, so Whyte can teach Hagler a lesson at his weight:

271/160 = Whyte is scaled down to 114cm thick n healthy Middleweight, Marvin Hagler is in trouble

Dillian Whyte is an over-achiever for getting that far with that body. Eating his way out of his old weight class, a serotonin rich relaxed career at Heavyweight fighting the Bodybuilder, much easier than dealing with making weight at 6'03" 200lbs & having to face tough as nails Cruisers for much less money.

Whyte could never make 160, if he went to 160 he would die.

Like I said... even BMI calculators dont work for everybody, it fails to take into account many variable like build size and bone density.

Whyte is clearly obese at 271.... but he is naturally a fat/endomorph guy

Whyte is a real heavyweight. He would never make 200 pounds.

Even if he cut weight, the lowest he could go is probably 230

If so, there's no CW big enough to use Fury's tactic of hugging and leaning on Wilder, which complemented his approach of coming forward inside the pocket and Wilder's power zone.

All previous Wilder opponents staying on the outside got sparked out. We will see in Wilder's future fights how his opponents fight him after seeing Fury's blueprint. I think Wilder will lose some level of invincibility but his own confidence will be the most important factor.

Wilder has a weak resume so I'd like to see him fight the likes of Whyte, Parker, Dubois as well as Usyk, who would in some ways answer your question.

No doubt about it. The first time he fought a world class fighter who was below the age 36 he got taken to school even though said fighter was a drug-ravaged inactive suicidal muscle atrophied 40% shell of themselves and the second time he did so that very same fighter who turned up match fit and healthier this time beat the soul out of his body like a red-headed stepchild even though they were riddled with injuries during camp and didn't spar to the head. Like I keep saying, the skill level of his opposition was atrocious and on the few occasions he actually fought someone who possessed a modicum of skill he got totally outboxed and his best win was 2 weeks shy of their 39th birthday going into their first fight against him.

He fought at 225 around 2011, but still looked like he could lose more. Similar situation to former Unified World Champion Andy Snickers Ruiz no incentive to move-down when Heavy pays more & the level of skill is lower anyways.

He was 21 years old then man... still a kid... you dont stop growing till 25.

    I was 67 kilos in 2011...

I am 95 kilos now.... I could never .... ever..... ever go back to 67...

No matter how much fat I lost... no trainer in the world could get me to 67 .... I would die in hospital.

My height been the same since 2004

There's more than one way to skin a Wilder.
