He wasn't allowed to get into a position to throw it a lot of the time. Wilder throws the right hand with power by stepping in with a huge step forward and launching forward throwing the big right. By being pushed back constantly his feet were rarely allowed to be in position to throw as he was constantly forced to move. Fury also utilised an extended left arm to prevent Wilder from jumping in with the right hand when Wilder did try and move forward. Watch the fight, every time Wilder steps forward or looks to be aggressive Fury extends that left arm out, blocking Wilder from doing his step in move to throw the right. Other fighters who know how to slip or duck under the extended left hand could just do that so get past it and throw. But WIlder has always been the bigger man, he's never needed to know how to slip a jab, so when he steps forward to throw the right he just walks into the extended left arm and is left out of range to land it cleanly. In contrast watch the punch that drops Wilder in the 3rd. Fury attacks with a left to blind Wilder, Wilder extends his arms to prevent Fury from cutting the distance but Fury does what Wilder cannot, he slips inside the extended left hand so when he lands that over hand right, he does so with full force as he's in range to do so.
Fury took time and space away from Wilder and actually sat on his punches. Wilder couldn“t plant his feet to use his right hand so he got absolutely steam rolled.. simple really, but still easier said than done.
