Andy Ruiz says he's 6'2''. There's no way on this earth that he's 6'2''. I've heard many clock him at 6', but he looks a solid 5'11''.
I hope he gets in great shape again, and sticks to it this time, but I seriously doubt it. If he has another couple of good fights in him again too opposition like Wilder and Whyte I will be happy though.
Andy Ruiz was in the 250-256 pound range at that time in his career, but can't confirm precisely his weight for that fight.
Hard to ignore how he came in as a walking buffet in the rematch. Even he's admitting he was too super size to move and throw the combinations that won him the first fight.
For anyone thinking Ruiz will change just look at the video. Doesn't look like the lost has affected his appetite one bit. I was hopping he'd be hitting the gym and slimming down to show the world he is serious. Still the same mental mindset. He does have hunger but it ain't for boxing.
Andy 'Rolls' Ruiz needs to go on a three month fast. Seriously, what does this guy expect? Train now! It's honestly surprising he even got to the title when you look in retrospect.
