Yawn... Garbage fight so they can grab more titles in the manufactured career of Clenelo. Smith is garbage which is why this fight is happening now. The whole world saw Ryder beat Smith now fishnets and co. are rushing in for the kill.

 

And Smith is more than than willing to take the payday especially after his life and death struggle with Ryder in which he needed bribed judges to bail him out. This is a cashout by Smith and a cherrypick by Clenelo. Plain and simple.

I dont rate Joe Gallagher as a trainer to be honest, he is more of a friend and fitness coach. Canelo's skillset is ELITE and what he brings to the table is enough to offset any advantage Smith has in natural size and power.

Notwithstanding the Ryder controversy I think this is a good fight.
