    huh?

fury has won every belt there is to win. He beat an ATG and a limited banger to win those.

my point was without boxrec I don’t even know who Bowe even fought. And heavy is my favourite weight.

No fighter says they want to be the next Bowe. I actually just watched the highlights of golota bowe.....

He’s left no legacy, and I personally don’t think he would ever of beaten Lewis, or fury. And that’s my opinion.

go back to champs to the 70s I could make a list from memory about their fights.

Bowe is a footnote in history.

Bowe is the great mystery of heavyweight champions of the world. Nobody can really be absolutely confident in ranking him.

That’s the whole point. Fury has a slickness a guy who looks like him simply shouldn’t have.

boxrec is FAR from perfect but ranks him at a rather poor 31.

fury is at 15 and he isn’t finished yet

saying that wilder is a mere 61

Let me piece meal it for you......Bowe won ALLLLLLLL the belts from Holyfiled, undefeated undisputed..and he did not need two tries and devine invention to get up in the 12th

Fury beat a shot ATG in WK......Bowe beat a prime and ko'ed a ATG in Holyfield 3

1223544 thread and posts about Wilder is a Bum, so that win does not count, after all why would you get credit for beating a Bum.

Further, Hide is above Chisora level and got axed in one try not two.....Gonzales was Chisora level and got axed...both undefeated btw, Hide a belt holder, Bowe beat them like rented mules....and larry Donald would be Furys best opponent next to Wilder and WK and Bowe beat him too. The end.

That leaves uo with a prime and slightly diminshed Holyfiled who Bowe beat two out of three, loosing a razor close split dec and Ko'ed him flat out in the third.

Up to this point , Bowe was more accomplished but Fury has time to get up there.

    ok. You can believe that.

when it’s all said and done, fury will be ranked higher ATG, richer and more memorable

boxrec, though flawed, has bowe at 31. Fury at 15. And fury isn’t finished yet.

have a nice night, maybe you can donate to bowes go fund me to keep his house after he turned down millions to face a true ATG in Lennox

I wouldn’t put much trust in boxrec. What makes Bowe so weird is that you can make at least a reasonable argument for ranking him almost anywhere among top heavyweights, over a wider spread of places than just about any other legitimate heavyweight titleist. Come to think of it, if Fury goes off the rails again now and never again performs at a top level, he would be similarly unrankable.

    agreed about boxrec.

I found an updated all time heavyweight list dated this year, may have been on ring TV. It was prior to the fury win over wilder and it had bowe #30 and fury #31

Wilder shouldn't be on that list. Bowe was considered a big man, which he was, here he would be fighting bigger men again, skilled bigger men. I rated Bowe highly h2h and still think he could do something with all three you mention(not including Wilder), but hes up against it, Holy, who again is a great fighter is simply to small

Everyones with the rose tinted glasses on viewing the last few eras compared to this one, but... your post is a lot how I see it.

I remember distinctly how bland heavyweight boxing was for almost a decade, ya no thanks.

This is the most exciting its been since Ive been a fan. Just imo.

Bowe was terrible on the outside and got beat up by an average Golota because of it Bowe is really only know for the holyfield fights Ducking Lewis and getting beat up by Golota before the DQ's.
