Has got to be forget an unwinnable rematch against Fury and let him fight Joshua.

Take the decent ppv payday option against Dillian Whyte and if he wins that would still be considered top 3 and legitimately rebuild some interest in another title fight.

The Fury rematch effectively ends his career instantly and no one wants to pay to see it.

Without the belt, Joshua and Whyte have no interest in fighting him.

Whyte said he'd still fight him, but I suspect it would be in UK and Wilder won't get anywhere near what was offered before, so Wilder again will pass, not risking another defeat.

I think his best option would be to get allow Fury/Joshua to happen and get step aside money as long as he gets a guaranteed shot at the winner, whoever that maybe. Maybe he also ensures he gets a decent payday on the under card vs a hand picked opponent he blasts out quickly to help build the fight with the winner. That way he gets 3 pay outs instead of just one for the Fury rematch.

There is no interest in a Fury rematch for him right now. Nobody believes he can beat Fury now.

Wilder’s best bet is to fight a couple of easy fights, get a couple of highlight real KO’s under his belt, and casual fans will eat up the rematch, because they will believe in him again.

Whyte vs Wilder in the UK. Winner gets Fury vs. AJ winner. couldn't be more perfect

Theres no way fury and Joshua wouldnt have their own rematch clause though.
They are not about to lose their titles and have wilder swoop In and fight for the undisputed title. Makes no sense

I really don't see the benefit in Joshua fighting Wilder, or vice versa. For Joshua, if he beats Wilder people are just going to say 'Oh Fury gave him the blueprint' even though he already had that blueprint. If he loses, people are just going to say 'See, I told you he was ducking him' even though he really wasn't. For Wilder, maybe if Joshua wins v Fury there's the benefit of having the belts again. But a Joshua who beat Fury is going to be even tougher for Wilder to beat. If Wilder loses, the payday that would have been there if he took the fight years ago when both were unbeaten just won't be there now that both have been defeated and Wilder no longer has a belt.

I mean, Joshua would still probably fight him just to settle that question but I don't see the point in it. It's not Lennox Lewis wanting to fight Mike Tyson, even though he was washed up, because he used to be an ATG and Lewis didn't want people coming up to him and saying 'Mike Tyson would have knocked you out'. Wilder is not an ATG. He's a bum with a bloated record. Anyone with any common sense could see how that fight would go.

I really don't see what Wilder could do career wise other than retire. He's not going to beat Fury. He's 35 years old. He's not suddenly going to learn to box. He could go on the comeback trail but this would mean eventually having to face the kind of elite level opposition he's avoided for most of his career

Charles Martin, good fight in Alabama.
Winner bounces back for a title shot.

Odd post. Both guys have literally said they want to fight him regardless.

    Best option ?

If he still wants to work as a boxer and prizefighter for living. He needs to climb up the ranks just like everybody else. That's the rule.

    No easy work.

    Charles Martin

Then wait for the Fury/Joshua result.

Forget Whyte - he brings nothing.
