Tyson’s win over Holmes is just as good as Fury’s over Wlad. I agree Spinks gets over rated. But he was an ok fighter. But Tyson did clean out the division and unite the belts...something Fury has yet to do. He also hasn’t won as impressively and dominantly as Tyson did. I like Fury but I’d like to see him fight a few more guys first.

I hate how people talk about past boxers like they’re invincible, fury has risen to the occasion every time, and shown that he can adapt his style for certain opponents, unlike mr ‘invincible’ so i don’t see any reason why fury couldn’t beat mike, look whenever Tyson fought an atg, he got dominated and stopped, Fury will definitely be an atg, but I don’t see mike Tyson as an atg because he never beat one and don’t dare bring up Larry Holmes, he was older than Louis when he fought Marciano and people say Louis was 138 years old

Picking Tyson over Fury is hardly making him out to be "invincible".

Wlad wasn’t washed and everyone including probably you thought klitschko was gonna destroy fury, but everyone knew mike was gonna beat Holmes and Wlad wasn’t as inactive at the time, Holmes had been out of the ring for 2 years and Wlad was active having fought a few months prior and hadn’t taken punishment for years, Mike didn’t beat anyone as good as the klitschko that fury beat

I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Tyson (and personally believe guys like Louis, Holmes, Ali, Foreman, Holy, Bowe, and Lewis would all have stopped him prime for prime). But even I think Fury would have been knocked down at least once and stopped.

Wilder did hit harder than Mike, but Mike in his prime threw vicious punches in bunches. Unlike Wilder, Tyson was one of the greatest, most ferocious finishers in history. Fury showed one HELL of a lot of heart getting back up against Wilder, but Wilder was shot after that and never was the greatest finisher.

Fury would have made Mike look BAD early on, especially the Fury who scored his one big (admittedly very impressive) win against Deontay. However, Tyson is going to connect flush sooner or later, and once Fury gets back up he's got the most savage finisher this side of Dempsey and Foreman after him. I just don't see him surviving that (to be fair I don't think Joshua, nor even the admittedly mighty Wlad would survive it either).

Again, coming from a not-exactly-huge fan of Mike. I do rate him #10 ATG.

Is it CombatesdeBoxeo/ForemanDempsey? I saw the instant someone disagreed with him, his fuse start whittling down but it was the construction of the past tense participle that did give it away for me. But his English is near perfect for a second language so I shouldn't mock.

It's not going to be a place for the faint-hearted. At least till he gets booted again.

Wilder? No. Wilder's crap. Mike would come out charging against Wilder and wouldn't stop until he was down. As we saw on Saturday, Wilder just doesn't know what to do when someone brings the fight to him.

Fury and Joshua? Maybe. Big guys with decent jabs did pose a problem for later Tyson (see Lewis). But Joshua's condition issues would come into play. Klitschko eased up on him and let him recover. Mike Tyson wouldn't do that. Look at the Savarese fight. Mike dropped Savarese first punch, Savarese got back up and Mike was on him and not even the referee's intervention made him stop. Even Fury, his movement is weird and he's got a good reach but he's soft to the body and he doesn't hit particularly hard. Fury would have difficulty with someone who knows how to move, which post-Holyfield Tyson still knew how to do he just wasn't as quick as he used to be

Actually Fury beats any version of 90s Tyson and This would not be specially hard.Tyson in the 90s was a one dimensional fighter not the great pack that he had in the late 80s. Even against 80s Tyson fury would have chance to beat him

The winner is whoever doesn't get a drugs ban first! People forget the real reason Fury was out after the Wlad fight was a failed steroid drug test resulting in a 2 year ban. PR machine spinned it into his alcohol problems.

You are clearly underrating Fury. You talk like if he was a mediocre guy. You have to be very good to beat wladimir klitschko and yes Deontay Wilder, yes Wilder has not the best skill but you have to be good to avoid his huge power ,survive and school him
