We only live once pal hope you enjoyed. If you like a whisky type drink and haven't tried it, try Jura, lovely.

I’ll give it a go, bud. I’ve got a bottle of Woodford Reserve in which is really nice. Sinking a bit too much of the stuff these past couple of evenings.

So turns out Ramirez has pulled out.... Yarde being in the running for the fight has swerved the Alvarez fight and Joe Smith Jr is in.

only have to look as the rankings to see Yarde would have been next inline particularly with his trip to Spain. They only wanted in if it was Vlasov they were fighting.

Poor form that. Where does he go from here? With the WBO tied up, there’s not much else. I don’t see him taking on another champion. Caparello is ranked highly with 3/4 of the organisations and doesn’t seem the most dangerous whatsoever. Him?

Still can't believe he fought Middleweight journeyman in a nightclub in Spain, one that made weight by simply not cutting weight and rocking up out of shape. Yarde is a joke, you can't respect that and I don't care who else has done it, it doesn't make it any less ridiculous #munchkincats

Mate, why you digging this up again..the joke fight wasn’t on TV and neither Warren or Yarde even mentioned it until it got leaked a day or so before.

Frank has since explained that Yarde is/was carrying a hand injury, so he wanted to test it out. The original plan was for him to fight on the ITV bill, but they obviously couldn’t risk it as it would have to be a reasonable opponent at the very least.

Also, you can’t blame them for sneaking in an easy win to try to quality for a potential World title eliminator- which would have been a solid fight against a Alvarez, or Salamov type which nobody in there right mind would have a problem with.

They only wanted the title fight if it was against Vlaslov. Alvarez too dangerous. Business as usual from Tunde/Yarde.

Maybe, but Vlaslov would have been a solid fight coming off Kovalev and Yarde would have had to face the other “semi final” winner which would have been either a Alvarez/Ramirez etc.

Talking about Kovalev, didn’t you and others agree to eat your hat if Yarde fought him?

Why not see who they fight next before re-starting the usual criticism...if as some are suggesting that Frank is going for a Capperillo type then surely that’s ok.

If it ends up being a useless bum, I will join you in throwing the rotten veg at them.

Apparently Yarde has turned down facing Lyndon Arthur on the Dubois-Joyce bill. The bum carousel is off again!

He just fought Kovalev in Russia... something you and others said would never happen.

This is suppose to be the man the diamond but he won’t even fight Burton and Kovalev made him look average then himself got schooled by Canelo so is Yarde just going to keep fighting nobodies in between the best in the world and coming short every time. He should man up and fight anyone now he’s tasted defeat at the top nothing should worry him. IMO not good enough to be world champion

Perhaps your new to the forum, but Yarde’s CV has been done to death. We know it’s poor, but he went to Russia to fight Kovalev and gave him a decent go, before inexperience became too much. This is worth 100 fights with the likes of Hosea Burton.

As I’ve suggested, it might be worthwhile waiting to see who he fights next before bashing him...if he fights Capperillo as remoured then this is a very solid fight.
