I dont see anything wrong with it. When you're an elite athlete and you taste defeat most dont handle it well. It can be even worse for a boxer after his 1st defeat because that's a 1 on 1 sport. You think you're the best and believe in yourself confident in a win knocking out everyone in your path and then you get dominated and lose. Of course he will be upset and sometimes in denial. What do you want him to say? I quit boxing??? I suck??? I'm a *****??? No he wants to let people know that he will be back no matter what and i don't have a problem with it. Some boxers react differently in their first loss look at Dorticos when he lost to gassiev he was so emotionally wrecked after his 1st loss that he cried like a baby during the post fight press conference but he came back and is back on top. Gassiev got his 1st loss against usyk and hasn't been back in the ring in over 2 years and hasn't come back. Others turn to drugs or alcohol to cope and get depressed. It has to be tough especially when you read sites like this and on social media and everyone is calling you a bum. At the end of the day he's human and has emotions. A 1st lost can be devastating could I do without some of the excuses of course but wilder is a proud man hopefully he can learn from this and bounce back from it.
He is mental, could you imagine,Klitschko Lewis, Holyfield , Foreman talking like this after a loss, he is deluded , a actor, needs to grow up he is nearly 40 years old, doesnt do himself any favours talking like this after a defeat, I wonder what he did with his stupid costume ?
The people around him are probably pissing themselves laughing when they see this ****, shaking their heads saying what a plonker!
This does scream mental weakness and Wilder is surrounded by yes man. This video will just have people shaking their head or laughing at him. If you want to post something about being a warrior, do one with you back in the gym. How you are looking to redeem yourself. This I'm a king bull **** a week remove from getting your ass kick shows you are still dizzy from the punches.
Pathetic from Wilder doesn’t even give Fury props and comes across as a mental patient who is off his meds
It had all the pep and enthusiasm of Patty Hearst reading the hostage statement. It wouldn't surprise me if Haymon was stood behind Wilder, pointing a loaded pistol at his back and making him say those things.
