Indeed, which is why I said it looked similar to the Cunningham fight rather than being fully similar. Fury's gameplan was similar, he was looking to overpower Wilder like he was looking to overpower Cunningham. The strategies didn't end up looking identical, but it's the same strategy nevertheless.
It just looked to me like he was actually sitting down on his punches in this fight, in the first fight he was trying to use movement and was landing to land more so than to KO Wilder.
I think the Kronk training caused Tyson to develop a much more aggressive, confident strategy you would expect from a fighter of his immense size They say mentality is the biggest part of boxing, and I think he greatly improved his metal confidence and he flights “up to his size” now. He is now planting his footing, then turning his body and putting his size into his hard shots, and they are now KO shots now. Before he threw arm punches for points The newly confident, aggressor style, combined with his large frame and strength——- the results speak for them selves. Fury was going AFTER the supposed hardest puncher in the game, was never hurt, and dominated then TKOed this supposed hardest puncher in the game What an impressive and effective change in style this turned out to be Fury now has it all going for him. He’s got it all.
Fury sat down a bit more on his shots. He is by no means a banger, but he is a big old lump. Not as accurate as he could be, when on the front foot.
Exposed in what sense? Anyone who gets clipped around that temple area can be badly affected for the rest of the fight. Joshua got careless, that's all. He wasn't 'exposed'. It was widely known that Joshua hasn't got a McCall level chin but that it's good enough. He got up against Wlad didn't he? Wlad is a monster puncher - top 5 of all time IMO. Did you really think that Wilder could beat any heavyweight in the world. Doesn't say much for your judgement. Fury is an absolute handful but I still think he can be clipped on the chin. If Joshua had floored Fury in the 11th round I think he would have finished his man.
No Fury is tough as hell and was rolling with Wilder`s shots when he got up, he`s too tough and slick for AJ.
