RD 8: Oh hey they're standing in the ring and beating the **** out of each other. Harris is landing some sharp jabs but Martinez is just landing the more telling punches. Martinez lands huge hooks and Harris retreats across the ring. He comes back and throws some nice combos but most of them are blocked. Martinez throws combos and most of them get through. Martinez gets Harris in the ropes and lands some more shots as the bell rings.

My scorecard is not reflective about how ****ing competitive and awesome this fight is.

 

Martinez actually looked a little discouraged there in the corner

 

he needs to become full time boxer, he is very good

 

8th real close again. Think Harris landed more but Martinez harder, more effective shots. Giving it to Martinez but by a smidgen.

 

Harris is a wicked little fighter and a thoroughly likeable lad. I hope he can pull it off.

 

I gave round 8 to Martinez because I thought a lot of Harris punches landed on the gloves. Martinez had that high guard catching most.

 

He is a full time boxer now, putting stuff into boxes. But I hope he can turn and become a fighter full time.

 

This is mental!

 

Like to see Hearn take Harris under his wing after this great effort and get him some more exposure. Only seen him fight once before but he's definately one to look out for.
