Look no further than Whyte v Povetkin as an example.

Bunce and Castello is the best podcast BBC Sport do. Having their own show be good for the UK fans. I will bloody be annoyed if we get a Kugan Cassius show

I do not think any Sky Sports or BT Sports subscribers should be charged PPV but no problem charging non subscribers.

Fury v Wilder 1 and 2 and Joshua v Klitschko fights are examples of what the standard should be.

For every PPV worth the money, these are outweighed heavily by PPV muggings including examples of Fraud v Conman McGregor, Kell Brook v Frankie Gavin, Crippled Toe Haye v Bellew twice and every Dullian Whyte non title fight.

Never said it was just Eh Day but he is the biggest scammer - proven when he promoted cartoon boxing all in the name of PPV

Is it likely that once the matchroom uk finishes contract with sky, that all of those fights will end up on DAZN only? Having the canelo fight on DAZN is going to be annoying more than anything. It needs to either be all DAZN or all sky. Otherwise this is just another £5 to add to the monthly bill on top of sky

Most people will pay for Sky, even less people for Sky and BT, only hardcore will fork out for Sky Sports, BT Sports, Premier Sports and Amazon - that is before sport is crumbled up again via PPVs and now DAZN streams.

I stop at Sky Sports and BT Sports subscriptions as beyond that is extracting the last drop of urine.

No wonder IPTV and the illegal streaming world is a huge success.

If Sky and BT was a more reasonable price (via paying Multi Millionaire Sportsmen/Women less) then everybody would have it and there would be no black market for viewers.

Where else should the money go? If the athletes didn't get the money it would only go the suits upstairs.

If all of matchroom ended up on DAZN I’d drop sky as I don’t watch any other sports but looks like it will have to stay for now

Well yes but it's not as simple as that.

The value of sports rights is determined by demand and by how much a broadcaster can recoup in advertising from the demographic that watches.

As long as the demand from consumer remains the rights fees won't dramatically drop resulting in the cost passed to the consumer.

Should we pay less? Probably but as long as premier League football remains so popular it's not going to happen.

It shouldn't cost so much to go and watch football live but again for every 1 person who won't pay there are 10 people that will.

It's just another subscription, initially another 4.99 per month on top of everythnig else, it will no doubt double in 12 months time.

Unless DAZN get Premier league rights, its not going to work in my opinion.

I won't be paying another fiver on top of my ever increasing sky bill (another 5.50 increase from 1st April).

Will be very interesting to see how many fighters will be fighting under the Matchroom USA banner and therefore fighting on DAZN UK only. I'm guessing sky sports cards will be diluted even further over the next 12 months.

Not necessarily. DAZN show PBC across Europe (they had Wilder v Fury 2 in Germany at least), so it might be a cheapish addition to the Matchroom and Golden Boy fights for DAZN.
