Who was harder to hit in their primes between these two? I compare them because of the peek a boo they used as devised by D`Amato but Floyd seemed too stiff to me.

Ingo would have landed less on Mike, Floyd was too easy to hit that right hand.

Buster Douglas would have landed less on Floyd. Mike was far too easy to hit with the jab and uppercut.

Oh that’s right Mike forgot everything he was taught when the amazing genius Kevin Rooney left his corner lol

He would've landed less because he would've gotten taken out earlier. On the other hand, Liston would've landed far more on Tyson than he did Patterson. Douglas also wouldn't have been able to hit Patterson almost at will as he did Tyson.

Tyson was more skilled than Liston and was never the same after firing Rooney, Tucker stopped Douglas and Tyson out boxed him in their bout 3 years before Tyson met Douglas.

He was one of the most skilled heavyweights of all time, you need to do drills over and over and Rooney stopped Tyson falling apart against Tucker, he was weak mentally and needed a strong guy in his corner.

Hand Speed- Tyson, Boxing Ability- Liston, KO Power-Listob, Size-Liston, Defense-Liston (as he maintained it during the entire fight as opposed to 2 or 3 rounds) Endurance-Liston, Adaptability-Liston, Foot Speed-Tyson, Strength-No Advantage, Jab-Liston, Cuts-No Advantage, Reach-Liston(84”) and Tyson(71”), Body Attack-Tyson

    Yup Tyson's more skilled. Lol

Floyd is my absolute favorite boxer but...
100% a prime Tyson! Way faster over all motion. From the toe to the fingertip. Allthough Floyd had faster hands, Tyson has a slightly advantage in footwork and a way faster and more agile upper body.

But another truth is: Mike Tyson's skills declined after 88...especially defensive skills. And he also was too heavy to keep his peek a boo style constantly through a fight. Otherwise: Patterson was a slow starter, but once he was really into a fight he could hold his pace. So his defense, and his concentration were there until the end.
