I like Joshua, but everything he does seems small now compared to Fury

Joshua is the number one heavyweight in the world. Hopefully him and #2 Fury fight very soon

Fury was always a different league to the other guys. He won every minute of every round against the most dominant heavyweight ever. Come on. Deontay Wilder won 60 seconds of 19 rounds.

 

Exactly. Things can change so quickly.

Remember how 3 months ago Andy Ruiz was "an all time great" and that "the extra weight will help him"?

 

Fury has never defended a belt and he was also caught on steroids, remember that. So to anoint him the best, he must prove it first and prove it numerous times. One surprise victory doesn't mean he is an all time great.

 

That clip sums up Fury to a 'T'. Saves the lives of two lobsters, sits back and compliments himself on a good deed done and then opines: 'I think I'll have steak'.... lol

 

Except that Joshua's fight purses and guarantees make Fury's 5 mil guarantee for the Wilder fight seem insignificant.

 

- AJ still has 3 of the 4 belts,

-Beaten 3 more of current top 10 than Fury has done.

- Earns over double what Fury does per fight

- sells out stadiums regularly, something Fury hasnt been able to do.


I fail to see where AJ's achievements and failures are small in comparison to Fury.

 

This happens a lot, it sort of reminds me of Mayweather and Pacquaio, when one fought and won the momentum would swing their way until the other fought and won't and it would swing back.

We have had months of Fury Vs Wilder, everybody in the boxing community was talking about it, it makes news, we had press conferences, build up, programs, YouTube boxing channels all in and then a big fight with a somewhat surprising fight.

But the fact are numbers talk.. AJ smashes Fury in PPV numbers and live gates, how you can say honestly say.. "everything AJ does looks small compared to Fury".

When is the last time Fury sold out Wembley? When is the last time Fury broke a PPV record?

Look at their best purses.. not even close, even after a defeat AJ was paid an obscene amount to fight in Saudi Arabia.

AJ is far from "small" when it comes to any heavyweight right now.


I think people are starting to go way over the top with Fury already, the fact is Fury has never even defended a world title, not a single defence.

 

It's always been like that.... Just wait til AJ KO's Pulev, then everything about Fury will seem small now, and vice versa and vice versa....

 

AJ will KO Fury as quickly as possible. He will make surprise attacks to stun Fury and knock him out inside the first 6 rounds. Fury will find himself kissing the canvas again and again until the ref. stops the fight. This is my bold prediction man....
