    Is he?
Hes been a pro for about 7 years and has had 23 fights and hasnt fought for a title.
If anything he needs to get a move on.

4 years too late. Barrera is probably more shot than Kovalev, but a good fight nonetheless.

I don't actually know. It seems like I'm always reading about him fighting someone every couple of months.

It'd make sense for him to have been viewed like that in the period you mention because he was one of the best P4P back then. He might've been a hall of famer on the merit of being an eastern euro superstar who had very entertaining fights or if he'd have cleaned out 175 successfully with Adonis Stevenson not ducking him.

Judging by the catchweight, I think his handlers would agree.

You dont get the hate for a guy who calls the people that believed him in idiots and practically admits he knew he wasnt gonna beat Canelo but took the fight purely for the money?

Then he goes out and pitter pats against a significantly smaller fighter, throws maybe a handful of full power punches the whole fight while eventually getting ko'd.

You dont get how that would attract hate and criticism?

I see it kirk, because I was one of those people, sadly. But on reflection.

He came in vs Alvarez and practically sold his belt. Took all the concessions weight draining, rehydration, no time for recovery etc.

He was also a shot, drained, alcoholic who just 2 months prior to the fight nearly got stopped by Yarde. A tough sob i might add, who took everything the old Kov had and left a rotting shell.

Can you blame him for cashing in? Other fighters have done it....

did Kathy Duva/Main Events dump him? I would. dudes a stain on the sport. I stopped supporting him after he insulted all of his fans, for thinking he could win against Canelo.

If Ginger can ktfo Kovalev I fail to see how he would beat any CW.

He may have some real mental issues from being ktfo so much recently...ot imbibing too much.

Lost my respect and interest for Kovalev after fixing the Canelo fight. He robbed all his fans.

I think Barrera will KO Kovalev. He is far from his prime himself, but he at least does care about boxing unlike Kovalev who seems to be focused more on some drinking contest
