Why does no one talk about JMM as P4P no1?

No disrespect but how could one rank JMM ahead of Pac? 5 (4 official) tumbles ain't gonna make you #1 P4P against the man..:D

A loss to Chris John (when everybody expected an easy win)...:huh

    I had JMM at 7-8.

I think you have the right idea...you just worded it incorrectly. PAC is by far the better "Fighter"....but in terms of boxing skills ....there are few who match the technical skill sets of one Juan Manuel Marquez. Which is the reason why PAC defies logic and defeats "BOXERS" who definitley have more skills. Due to his talent and Fighters spirit he is able to overcome disadvantages he has in terms of his boxing skills and make up for it 10 fold with his natural talent and relentless style.

I had Jeff Lacy beating Calzaghe 118-111 on my card. I think he should be #1 P4P.

I don't see my scorecard posted anywhere on boxrec. I guess they only rely on the 3 judges at ringside. With that said, Manny Pacquiao beat JMM. Like it or not, agree or disagree, it's not going to change. WIth that said, you can't put JMM over Pac. I've got crazy respect for JMM. He's a technical wizard and a resilient son of a *****. I wish his fans could cut Pac some slack.

Because you don't judge a boxer over 2 fights with the same person in which he didn't even beat. If you look at JMM's overall body of work, it doesn't even come close to comparing.

I've seen about three or four posters who ranks JMM as the number 1 in their list (based on their posts), but you see realistically he doesn't deserved to be even at #3, Cotto is also a 2 divisional champ who is undefeated.

Agreed, but Cotto did not beat the #1(or 2) fighter in the world as a lot of people believe JMM did.

And the opinions of "three blind mice" should have very little influence on personal PFP lists.

Current PFP lists should be based MAINLY on the "What have you done lately(going back, let's say 2 years)?" factor.

Based MAINLY on that, JMM and Pac's recent opposition are pretty similiar and if you believe that JMM won their last fight, then a point can be made for him being higher than Pac.

My personal opinion is that JMM won both fights against PAC, but I still rate PAC slightly higher than JMM because of his overall accomplishments.

JMM just needs to win without his ass sitting on the canvass.
