Totally agree about the knowledge on some of the posters on here. I'm just going to be a bit more careful when expecting too much from the prospects who have yet to fight a good opponent.

Very happy for Robbie. Nice little come back story, against an opponent who’s inexplicably in the Ring’s top10.

Kownacki was hyped and overrated because he is based in Brooklyn, New York.
NYC heavyweights always get hyped into 'world contenders' prematurely.
He's capable of being an exciting fighter though and could go on to be in many more good fights and get some good wins.

I thought the fix would be in, if needed, because Kownacki was being groomed either for a title shot or to be fed to Wilder or Ruiz JR. Delighted Helenius managed to rewrite the script.

In retrospect, the fact PBC were talking him up as a Wilder opponent should've been all the clues we needed...

You never know, Sugar is still sweet and SRH is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get:

-Loses to George Washington by brutal KO
-Eight months later destroys Adam Kownacki in four rounds

Shocking result, knew someone would expose Kownacki's lack of defence at some point but didn't think it would be Helenius.

The way he struggled with Martin and how a shot Arreola, who had been stopped by Wilder and Stiverne, was able to stand with him and land almost 300 punches, clearly showed he was already near the ceiling for his talents but I thought he'd at least remain undefeated long enough to get a title shot.

Helenius was obviously picked as an easy win, but he upset their plans. Very happy for Helenius, always seemed a nice guy and was sad so much of his career was sidelined due to injury. I suspect he'll sit on his mandatory spot until he gets a shot at Joshua, that should give him a £5 mill payday at the very least.

Stoked to bits at the result. Always liked Hellboy, but genuinely thought something had broken in him these past few years, with KO losses to Duhaupas and Washington and a whole string of terrible non-performances where his once fearsome power was nowhere in evidence.

Kownacki is just a tubby Arreola clone, but he was tough and game and made a specialty of walking through punches to land his own, and after wins against the likes of Washington and Martin I thought it was more or less a foregone conclusion that he'd do the business on a shot Helenius. But the HW division once again proves that nothing is certain, especially when punchers are involved.

What next, Price KOing Dillian Whyte? Stranger things have happened.

Fury will get sparked as well. So far he was lucky to not face the right guy on the right night.
Going up and down with such heavy transformation to your weight is going to affect you big time at some time.

Agreed, when I was watching Kownacki/Arreola it just seemed like Arreola was fighting a younger version of himself. Plow forward, throw combo's don't dare move your head and ensure you block every punch with your face.

Divison does seem to be throwing all preconceived ideas out the window right now. Morbidly obese Ruiz stops Joshua, Fury becomes a come forward puncher, Helenius who's career seemed dead comes back from the halls of Valhalla and murks the Polish Pilsbury dough boy.

I'm calling it, Chisora KO's Usyk next lol.

Ha. If there's one thing I'm certain of it's that Usyk doesn't lose to anyone not named Fury or Joshua. Now that I've said that it'll probably come true...
