    Headlining at Bayerhalle on 3/21, with Artur Mann vs. Tamás Lődi as the co-main event. WBO International super welterweight title at stake, 1st defense of Culcay.

    Both men are coming off unexpectedly close battles in November. Culcay-Keth (whose best victories are over Guido Nicolas Pitto, Isaac Real Modesto, and Dennis Hogan - and who is most renowned for his efforts in losses to Demetrius Andrade, Maciej Sulęcki and Sergey Derevyanchenko) just barely squeaked by Jama Saidi at home in Berlin, while Mwakinyo (still riding the up-jump in stroke from violently upsetting Sam Eggington in 2018, which remains his biggest W by far) got a gift over Arnel Janiola Tinampay at home in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.

    Culcay-Keth is WBO and IBF #8. Mwakinyo is looking to break into the world rankings (at least as far as top 15; he might well already be in some org's top 40/50).

    Not a terribly significant fight, but IMO should be fun.

    I wondered why Mwakinyo didn't get a decent fight on Matchroom after dismantling Eggington - good to see him get on another European card, but should have happened sooner. Hope he can get the job done and land a payday down the line.
