Willard was durable, big and strong and so was Bruno. Could the best version of Bruno take out Willard?
Willard was far more durable than Bruno, Witherspoon, Tyson, Lewis and Smith stopped Bruno and jumbo Cummings had him out on his feet.
It would be the usual story. Bruno would be ahead on the cards, then he would run out of gas, and Willard would knock him out.
Bruno probably knocks Willard out early doors. Willard is way too basic and easy to hit and if Bruno can land clean he can put you to sleep.
In some ways Bruno has advantages in the 10s. Smaller gloves and being able to stand over a fallen opponent would mean he could do far more damage to an opponent
Bruno would murder the Rodeo rider, you aint catching Brunos right with your chin as your only defense without getting counted out , plus Willard had never seen a ram rod jab like that before. A massacre.....Bruno teeing off rabbit punching while Willard is on the deck...... Bruno would be arrested for man slaughter and new laws would be put in place that no black man can fight a white guy in the next 25 years.
Bruno stops him within 7. Willard claims a sprained spine, a dislocated skull and a powdered eyesocket. Later, he rides an unbroken bronco to his hotel, lassoing hats off passersby.
