Needs to stop yo yoing between dog **** and World level opponents. Not a hope of a title shot in the next 2 years so he can genuinely be rebuilt now. I’d have him fight Price on the AJ/Pulev card and then face Helenius - who is shot to bits regardless of Saturdays result.
Shame Tony Yoka’s fight fell through, but there were a few other fringe heavyweight prospects in action at the weekend... Efe Ajagba TKO 9 Razvan Cojanu Frank Sanchez PTS 10 Joey Dawejko Hughie Fury TKO 3 Paval Sour Demsey McKean TKO 10 Jonathan Rice Robert Helenius TKO 4 Adam Kownacki
He'll go back of being petrified to throw his right hand when in with a live fighter again most likely. He'll have another soft touch next, then probably be fed to Hrgovic or Bakole or someone like that
It will most probably be Price then Allen , Eddie was spouting some bull**** about building him the right way.
Fury has been sparring with Bakole. Maybe @billy nelson can tell us if it’s been ‘interesting’ to see
If I'm helenius do I risk my wba status? Genuine question, I don't know if he's even confirmed as challenger for the belt, but if he is confirmed maybe he wraps himself in cotton wool and waits for the big money jackpot?
It was a WBA eliminator but it wasn’t a WBA final eliminator. It gets Helenius into a better position for three of the four WBA belts but doesn’t make him mandatory and anywhere near consideration for the main WBA title. WBA SUPER CHAMPION - ANTHONY JOSHUA WBA WORLD CHAMPION - MANUEL CHARR WBA INTERIM CHAMPION - TREVOR BRYAN WBA GOLD CHAMPION - JOE JOYCE
I think they announced before the fight that it was a final eliminator. However, the reason I'm not sure is that whatever brown envelopes were heading around were based on AK winning. I wouldn't be surprised if it's now magically not a final eliminator after all... Still, looking at that list you posted who on earth could make sense of who, if anyone, is entitled to fight for which belt.
