You can’t really compare usyk and whytes boxing record because for one he has only had one heavyweight fight but apart from that he did the small feat of unifying an entire division .

Did Oleksandr Usyk really say that? That is interesting, if so. I wonder if he's deliberately trying to make himself look vulnerable so as not to become avoided. I would love to see him in there with Anthony Joshua.

Your words are wasted upon me Paul you instead should be shoving your sentiments down the throats of Usyk sympathisers who have him down as an elite HW already... stepping over the accomplishments of others in the division

Yeah he did, maybe he is making himself appear more vulnerable .. if thats the case then he must have been a method actor in a past life as he allowed his face to look like a burnt pizza in the Witherspoon fight

I didn't say Usyk had either....

Whyte's best win seems to be Chisora who failed every time he stepped up in class. Chisora is a gatekeeper and has been for years. I will also admit I personally don't really like Whyte's style as his offense seems to be very predictable (hook to body+uppercut/overhand - over and over). If he can look impressive against Povetkin (himself a potential gatekeeper at his age though with legit skills and power) I would be far more impressed compared to his last couple of wins.

Overall, I think this is a good fight for us to really see how Usyk operates at HW considering Chisora has been in there with some of the top guys over the last 5-10 years. He's just never really won those fights which is why I don't get how some people on here tend to rate him so high to this day.

I'll go with Usyk over Chisora and Povetkin over Whyte.

If Chisora shows up in top form he can make a good fight of it. Ultimately however Usyk must be favored

The reason I mentioned Usyk is because i dont understand your measuring stick... whyte has one of the best resumes in the division as in a top 3 resume and there are 50 competitive active HWs

So how on earth are you claiming Whyte not to be decent enough? One with a brain can only infer and surmise that you are comparing him to another era! Because you definitely aint comparing Whyte to his own era with a statement like that!

Nobody said you had to like him or even like his style... but you will acknowledge his CV

Parker and Rivas are solid scalps.. young prime and hungry... chisora aint Whytes top win thats just a troll statement...

You must be trolling because you aint serious and your opinion is in the vast minority of this forum and beyond

Definitely getting tickets for this. I need to be there when Chisora knocks Usyk out. You lot that blow smoke up his arse will be the first to turn on him.

“It’s going to be leather," said Chisora. "I’m already taking dancing lessons. The guy is going to be on fire man. He’s going to be dancing bro. He’s going to be dancing. Where can you get guys who can be sparring like him? Nowhere. The guy is a dancer. He’s going to dance.

“It’s going to be hard, I’m not going to lie to you. I think this fight will be the hardest fight I’ve ever had. Not because the guy hasn’t got power, but because of the accuracy of his punches and the way he chucks them. When he chucks them he’s unbelievable.

"I’m going to have to eat leather, I’m not going to lie to you. I’m going to eat leather. I’m probably going to take five before I get one in there, but it is what it is. I eat that sh-t for breakfast. The hunger remains and the dedication is the same."

2012 Olympic Gold medallist Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) cemented his place as one of the finest fighters on the planet with a phenomenal run of victories in his opponents’ backyard that saw him crowned the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion of the World, and Chisora confesses to being an admirer of his next opponent.

"We can’t sell this fight by insulting the guy. It’s a fight for boxing fans. If I say ‘**** you’ to him he’s going to think I said, ‘good morning’. He doesn’t understand any English. He’s a good guy. There’s nothing wrong about this guy.

"He’s a funny guy, he loves life, he likes everything. He’s a boy’s boy – he’s cool. I can’t really say anything bad about this man. He’s done so much in four years. He’s done great for himself. He’s amazing, I’m a big fan of his."

Del thinks he's being slick there but this is as transparent to a real fighting man aka a gypsy as new glass. I see you, Del. I see you.
