Hmmmm.....Beoncey Wilder, Luis Ortizn't, Kownacki, Gerald Washington, Bryant Jennings, Seth Mitchell, Dominic Guinn, Joe Mesi, Michael Grant........the list of massively overhyped american and US based fighters is as rich and diverse as boxing history its self...just saying.
Oh i`m really getting tired of all this ridiculous thread about Fury and how "special" he is. Nothing special about him, except for his physical data, which is given. One more time, Joshua will send him to oblivion. Fury is top fighter, but he ain`t the man everyone here trying to make him. He is a big fat KO waiting to happen, and Joshua will make that happen. I`m pretty sure that Usyk will beat him too. The only thing Fury has on Usyk is the size, but Usyk is superior on everything else. I don`t want to enter another endless discussion, you can think whatever t***** you want, but that`s my opinion and i can stand on it, unless i`m proven wrong.
Fury is indeed a special fighter....who whizzed all over his foes as inept, can't box, cherry-picking-chinny,skinny-chumps. Yet wants to be credited as the king of Gypsies? Or king of the heap he aptly titled them as such?
I'm an AJ fan but I won't lie, Fury is the better boxer. Better foundation (despite fewer amateur bouts), much more technically complete. Much more mobile. But the better boxer doesn't always win. Mike Tyson forgot more about boxing than any of the guys who beat him have ever known, especially McBride and Williams. I also have doubts that the three years he spent snorting all the cocaine in Manchester won't come into play somewhere. He just hasn't fought anybody yet who can press him on it. Quick fighters also tend to lose their speed and if Fury loses his he's just a big, fat target At cruiserweight, yes. He's unproven at heavyweight. His frequent injuries also suggest he's having difficulty making the adjustments.
That may well be the case, but he has beaten(won) every bought he's fought in apart from the draw with Wilder , what more can he do ? as for AJ , time will tell , simple really...
Tyson Fury may not be the most dynamic puncher, he's not the quickest, but he his damn sure a fighting man. Combine Ali, Mayweather and Jack dempsey then give that fighter absurd height and reach and you have Tyson Fury. By no means am I saying Tyson Fury would beat prime Ali, Lennox or Holmes, but he's damn sure got a shot.
270 pounds Of skill and physically Wilder and AJ has physicality, none of the skill. If anyone actually thinks AJ poses a threat you're deluded, honestly. AJ boxes straight up, chin in the air, solid basics, high guard BUT STIFF AS A BOARD. Tyson PLAYS WITH AJ.
There's a lot to like about fury but you have to prove you are great you don't just get to say that without backing it up. Wins against wlad and Wilder are nice and all but zero title defenses is not. Let's see him put his money where his mouth is and put that belt on the line against some quality contenders and see what happens
You think any of the current crop are beating him? Hell no. Wilder, AJ, Whyte etc etc these are easy pickings. Fury is a level ahead of them all Even when it hits the fan Fury knows how to win. Like all greats could.
