Cording v Barrett would be a great fight moog I agree though , Cordina is the man out of them three.

Yes I've heard from other, reasonably reliable sources as well before i saw the above vid that he's gone to MR.
    I'm surprised

At end of day the fighter should and will take the best deal for them. Frank seems to rarely do shows out of London area so not surprised.

Hearn signing domestic level max fighters now, Can't see Barrett getting past the level he's at. Maybe he's a good ticket seller.

People moan at Hearn for lack of depth on shows. When he signs a decent British talent to add depth to his shows people moan that he’s not signing a superstar.

Quality British level guys like Barrett are what Sky needs. Rather watch 4 really good British type level match ups than bigger names fighting taxi drivers eg. I understand economics, so understand it all needs to tally up. For example for Saturday fight nights in say Manchester they should aim for bills such as:

    Barrett v M J Ward or Cordina
    H Fury v Takam
    Burton v Richards
    Massay v Hyde

Whats available to sign? Its time for what hes got to start showing there true worth more than anything, Buatsi, Cordina, Okolie, Kelly etc.

Plus he'll have the entire Olympic team by the end of the year.

Anthony Cacace for a start in Barretts weightclass is better.

Lots of the GB boys who didn't get picked for the Olympic Qualifiers are now gona turn pro. Jordan Reynolds, Conor Loftus, and Thomas Hodgson have all announced they are turning pro already, and plenty more will.

I think it’s a good move Barrett has been fighting all over recently and he has said its been a struggle for his fans to afford to come and support him . I think Eddie has sold him the idea he could be the next Crolla at the Manchester arena . I think it’s possible with the right match making he could be involved in a big fight in the next two years . He is very talented the blip against Clark might do him the world of good. I don’t think he’s going to be a world beater but has the potential to mix it at world level.

Going off the public responses to the Barrett and Cacace signings Matchroom will know they made the right choice of the 2, and they already have the best guy in the UK at the weight in Cordina that ultimately theyll all get fed to anyway. There wasnt any need for Cacace. Warrens doing in his thing in NI so its a good fit for him.

Yes I do agree with you, and I'm glad hes moved to MR as Zelfa is my fav British fighter atm and well see him more often.
Frank puts all his efforts into London based fighters and hes missing the boat imo. The talent that is there to be developed outside of London is massive.

Barrett is a great signing but I was unsure it would happen because his team seem tight with Warren.

Hopefully see him move up to Euro level soon

Absolutely plus except for the elite Bill's London seems to get poor crowds, especially for size of place. Fighters elsewhere get more notice and bigger followings in their local areas. Frank should have concentrated in a few areas outside london with hardcore boxing supporters. Should have went to Dublin as MTK and Matchroom dont do shows there, also Belfast and South Wales/Bristol.
