Is there a chance lack of interest could kill Fury-Wilder III?

Can the fight be killed financially?

  1. Yes. They fight for money, and if the money isn't there, they might walk.

  2. Nope. We are stuck with this whether we like it or not.

Personally as a hardcore fan, if it was on in the U.K and/ or at a sensible hour then I would watch it. I would not get up/ stay up until 5am to watch it again.

Sir with all respect, we are passed this point. Deontay Wilder is wealthy for the rest of his life, there is no need for cash-out?!,

He equaled Muhammad Ali world title defenses. Deontay Wilder is sticking around for another title reign & Tyson Fury as he is the only man to get up from Deontay Wilder punching power. If future contenders are 6'09" & as good as Fury, then yes...we can favor them over Deontay Wilder, after the 3rd fight, we can see Wilder do his one-punch KO trick vs any heavyweight (not named Tyson Fury), will always be good show for the casuals...Wilder has that excitement factor

Ok my good man I like your tone but cannot agree with you're train of thought. Tyson sat in the pocket out the pocket landing at will and flat out dominant that second fight. landing at ease and shutting down the big right by closing the distance when needed. Yh got tagged but going to happen when you go flat out aggressive. Good luck in the rematch

Deontay Wilder will definitely need luck in the rematch, perhaps some help-mistakes from Tyson Fury. If Fury gets caught & KOed, the UK fans should still do the Joshua vs Fury fight. If Fury wins again, the Joshua fight goes on, the Wilder 3rd fight should not effect this at all.

Ok yh would watch that fight belts or no belts but do you honestly believe that belt belongs round Wilders waist. Personally I don't,, and think he's held up the HW division for too long already. Got a heavy punchers chance but that's about it

If he can beat Fury, who everyone thinks is unbeatable, then yeah he deserves to be champion. He won't though. He had no answer for Fury across two fights

The domination was so clear, that for most people the thrill of a 3rd fight probably wore off. Fury is so much better and Deontay is so helpless that it's hard to sell yet another rematch.

We will all watch it but there will be zero hype for the fight. I really dont care what anyone says but this is not going to get massive attention no matter how much these money grabing ****s try

I think Wilder needs to build a little to get people thinking he’s a killer again! It was so one sided last time fans won’t have the same anticipation as the previous fights.

Wilder should fight Whyte if he knocks him out in devastating fashion and makes a statement would help the cause.

The problem is that Whyte could very well take that one.

that’s true mate it’s a difficult one what sort of PPV numbers does the third fight do after the last fight ? Maybe 450 500k is that enough ? Wilder is in a dilemma really his career is one bad performance from being over at the top level.

The logical thing would be that Wilder gets some step aside money and a guarantee to face the winner of Fury-AJ. But the logical thing doesn't always happen.
