What could the best HW version of Moore do vs a prime Frazier?

I'm afraid that this would look similar to Marciano fight. Moore would look nice at the beginning, but constant pressure from Joe would be too much. A shame because I love Old Mongoose, I think he's really good HW.

Prime Archie Moore, 1955, that fought Rocky Marciano, vs Prime Joe Frazier 1967 These two combatants had seen their share of warfare in the squared circle before. Frazier had been in a brutal war against Oscar Ringo Bonavena, on Sept 21 1966, was decked twice by Ringo's right hands before rising to score a split decision over Bonavena and keeping his pro record intact, while awaiting World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali, who was scheduled to defend his title against Ernie Terrell on Feb 6 1967, in Houston, Texas. Moore just had a brutal bout against Marciano, losing by TKO 9, even decking Rocky in the title bout. Yank Durham and Eddie Futch much preferred Joe fighting Moore to fighting Ali, at this point, figuring Archie was well spent. According to Yank, who stated, Moore Is A Better Opponent At This Point Than Fighting Clay, Who Is Too Sharp For Joe. From the start of this bout, Joe concentrates on the midsection of Archie, bobbing and weaving, landing brutal left hooks, which appear to bother Moore. The Ol Mongoose retaliates with quick counters to the head of Frazier, who just smiles. The cross defense of Archie is troubling for Joe, who then keeps on attacking the body, as directed by Futch between rounds. This tactic pays off as Moore begins to show signs of fatigue, his mouth is hanging open. Both fighters show some facial damage as the bell ends round 13. In round 14, Joe lands left hook after left hook to an exhausted Moore who slides to the canvas, but cannot beat the referee's full 10 count. A good tough win for Joe Frazier, who would skip the WBA Tournament during the year as Muhammad Ali was stripped of his title following title defense victories over Terrell and Zora Folley. Joe would go on to stop George Chuvalo by TKO4 on July19 1967. Frazier would go and add the New York Title by an 11th round TKO over Buster Mathis, in Madison Square Garden on March 4 1968.

This fight would not be nothing like the marciano fight, Frazier destroys moore much faster, Frazier never ever had problems with a lhw. He was bigger, heavier, faster, he had better timing and move of head than Rocky ,hits just as hard and probably h2h was stronger than Marciano cause the 20 pounds of difference and similar type of body. Frazier destroys him

This, Moore would do well to get to the 4th round

When did Frazier beat someone as good defensively as Moore early?
Based on his work against very unimpressive at HW Foster? Moore is much different fighter than Foster, much more complete and more durable.

There is no huge size difference (within 10-15 lbs) and Moore is way too good to be destroyed by someone of similar size. Frazier is a bad stylistic matchup for him, but it doesn't mean that he'd KO him early.

Don't see Moore getting to the ninth as he did with Rocky. I'd say he's taken out by the seventh.

Moore goes in 7/8. Frazier doesn't give him counter opportunities as often, and is on him quicker. Moore would probably have a little more success, though; he could try and neuralise Joe's left, as he wouldn't have to worry about the right and he wouldn't be against the same power as he was vs Marciano, and so probably wouldn't have a round like the 6th.

    Frazier TKO7/8

I don't wan here no chat about Marciano hitting harder, Frazier was quicker and finds the mark much easier.

Think Frazier would eventually get to him. But before he did I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a close to even fight. I can see Moore doing well against less busy style of pressure fighters but not someone of Frazier’s level. Marciano got to Moore because he didn’t stop punching. He kept Moore playing defense. Frazier would do the same. I could see Moore giving someone like Holyfield or Dempsey fits but Frazier was just to busy
