May ninth in Cardiff, assuming coronavirus doesn't eradicate our species. :D Final eliminator for the IBF lightweight mandatory spot. Kambosos is rated #3 (as well as WBO #5) and Selby #4 (as well as WBC #9, and he is the WBO mandatory).

Each had a solid year in 2019, but they are both coming off controversial decisions in their last outings. Many felt Mickey Bey Jr. was robbed against Geek-Aussie prospect GKJ, while the peach-fuzzed Welshman is considered fortunate to have squeaked past Ricky Burns a foul-laden contest (and the popular Scot's presumptive swansong).

That was my pick but today they called tomorrows six nations Rugby ( v Scotland ) off earlier due to the n n n 19 virus , said virus is predicted to peak mid April here lads so sadly this bout is unlikely to take place here in Cardiff , maybe they can get it on down under but hopefully not in Queensland lol..

These fights will all most likely fall apart with this vermon spreading. I didnt see any controversy in georgies win, anyone who did please stand up and explain how? It will be a big test for george, would have preffered it in the usa instead of cardiff.

Kamboses beats the living shot out of Selby, and I do mean shot and stops him late, and I don't rate George all that much.

I agree with the prediction but I rate Kambosos as Australia’s best fighter.

Bullshit my dude, you were right there in the RBR to witness (and respond to) people thinking Bey got robbed. Don't play dumb acting like you've never heard of a lick of controversy surrounding the fight.

Saying you agree with the official result =/= "I never saw any controversy". The former is your opinion and is well & fine. The latter is a flat out lie. :nono:

Here, I scored it about a half hour ago. I missed it the day of the fight.

    Round 1 Bey 10-9, close
Round 2 Bey 10-9, very close
    Round 3 Kambosos 10-9
    Round 4 Kambosos 10-9
    Round 5 Bey 10-9
    Round 6 Kambosos 10-9, close
    Round 7 Kambosos 10-9, close
    Round 8 Kambosos 10-9, close
Round 9 Bey 10-9, very close
    Round 10 Kambosos 10-8

    96-93 Kambosos Jr.

    95-94 it's fine as well.

Not sure what all the controversy was about, if anything it wasn't some shocking exposing of George Kambosos but a top-tier 10 round chess match between two solid all around but not great boxers, and proved he had the ring IQ to hang with fairly smart fighters. Both men were pitch perfect and did their thing to perfection, constantly negating one another, and both doing just enough have an argument that they won the round. By no means was it a robbery, it's another one of those matches where you could make the argument several rounds being scored 10-10.

I had it almost identical to yours, was a close competitive fight, with george the deserved clear winner. Havnt seen much out there online to justify that MANY are calling the fight controversial. I remember bey nodding his head when george was declared the winner, in what seemed to be a gesture of acceptance that he new he didnt do enough.

Saying that you didn't see controversy, when you knew people thought Bey got robbed. It doesn't matter how few or whether just on here; the fact is you knew there were those who disagreed with the decision. That's what controversial means. Controversial doesn't have to mean you disagree with it necessarily.
