    My pick is Larry Holmes, UD 15

    Marciano won't be able to get past Holmes's jab, and even if he did manage to I strongly believe Holmes can take Marciano's best.
    Both are great champs with tremendous heart, would be a great fight.
    I don't see Holmes KOing or TKOing Marciano, no one ever did and Holmes, although he has power, isn't a huge puncher.

    Stylistically i like rocco here. His stamina and right hand would be the key to win this fight. Marciano by knock out in the round 13 maybe losing in the cards

    Rocky Marciano by KO in late rounds 11-15!
    See what chinny Shavers did to Holmes and LHW Spinks?Renaldo Snipes also!
    Joe Frazier used to break Holmes ribs in sparings and beat him!
    No one of them is Marciano!
    If Spinks and Frazier could Rocky would that too and also Holmes is not mobile enough like Ali to be on distance!He had more similar style like Louis than like Ali!
    He is not Ali to dance around and Rocky would bodypunched him to death!

    Yeah to be fair that could be any one of ten threads on the front page, there are loads of Rocky Marciano threads and loads of HW fantasy fights and lots of Rocky Marciano HW fantasy fights right now.

    If Holmes super-jab does good his job Marciano has few chances. Holmes for decision imo.

    Holmes' jab and uppercut dominate the fight. Rocky gets in some amazing power shots though, and it would be a great fight to watch.

    Larry Holmes by late round stoppage or decision. I picked KO on the poll but that’s probably not exactly how it would play out. More like a corner retirement on cuts or something of that nature.

    Let's be honest with ourselves.
    Prime Holmes beats the hell out of Marciano.
    Rocky didnt have the slick quick bob n weave that Frazier had or the quick feet either. Rocky had very limited head movement which coupled with his short reach about 68? His height about 5'10 and it's all a recipe for disaster. Rocky just doesnt have the athleticism speed or skill to get past Larry's jab and if by luck he does Holmes has the uppercut and or cross he never sees coming. Folks as great as Rocky was this isnt a fight he should be in. It's a one sides beating from Holmes. Styles make fights.
