Povetkin had/has a good resume, but these smaller guys like Byrd, Huck, Chagaev, Chambers would have been defeated more easily by Fury I'd say. It's also a little ridiculous to say that Povetkin had a better resume when he fought Wlad considering Fury was 27 or whatnot and Povetkin actually delayed the Wlad fight because he didn't feel ready until his 30s. So if Povetkin CHOSE to fight Wlad later, of course he'd have a more substantial resume at the time, since he'd been on the circuit much longer! But year for year, what do their resumes look like? At 27 Fury's looks better. And at 31 it looks better too.

    An unbeaten Chisora was shot?

The Chisora Whyte struggled with was shot, the one that went on to beat a prime Helenius (He was robbed blind) and give Vitali and Haye tough fights was in his absolute prime.

That win is underrated for Fury and is better than any that Povetkin had when he challenged Wlad.

Helenius was injured going into that fight, Vits did his shoulder also. Haye knocked him out. Fury had already faced Chisora in a very close fight in 11. He knew exactly what to expect. Pov knocked out 40-3 Byrd in 07 first time of asking.

Beating Byrd, Chagaev, Chambers and Huck is better than beating Chisora x 2 and Hammer. It's clear cut.

The Del boy who fury fought was 14-0 and 28 years old and hadn't yet had his career best performance so in what planet was he shot?
