It is FACTUAL, repeat, FACTUAL, the UKAD almost went out of business because of how they botched the matter. In February 2015, the elevated levels of nandralone were detected, but the levels were so minor that it was agreed that the probable cause was diet or contaminated supplement. Fury's camp claims that his B-sample passed, but I have not seen the evidence of that. Jump ahead 16 months--yes, you read correctly. 16 months later, UKAD decided that it was going to charge the Furies. The Fury camp sued, as would anybody. How could anything possibly be proven or disproved 16 months later? What is more, the Furies claimed that they were not informed that this was still an issue, which was verified by UKAD'S chief executive. Tyson had to admit to recreational concaine use, but both sides compromised, and Fury got a backdated suspension, which was really no suspension at all. Fury couldn't have fought because of his cocaine use, and voluntarily "retired." It had nothing to do with nandralone. UKAD made this ridiculous compromise, a name-only win, because it was on the verge of bankruptcy due to Fury's lawsuit having real legs. As for Fury, the man wanted to fight again. So let us hear no more about Fury's nandralone use. I am not naive. I understand that he might have used it. BUT IT WAS NEVER PROVEN. And what is more, UKAD's behavior was disgraceful. If the man was using, they it should not have taken 16 months to charge him. What is more, it never should have been agreed that non-PEDS sources where possible. Again, all of this is not my opinion, IT IS HISTORY, THAT ANYONE CAN VERIFY FOR THEMSELVES. Fury was never proven to have done anything wrong except cocaine, which he admitted to. As for UKAD, they almost ceased to exist because of their corruption and incompetence. Peace.
The Lance Armstrong tactic was suing anyone that had dirt on him on his PED use to oblivion. This is a blueprint that has been followed ever since, and UKAD's policies make it easy to bury them with lawyers whenever there's a positive test with low values (as in not collected within hours after doping up).
Fury engaged a high powered brief. They threatened to sue for the potential earnings that a heavyweight champion could earn over a period of years aka mega bucks. If successful, they would've bankrupted UKAD. UKAD wanted to take them on because they felt they had a strong case and it was important to defend the principles at stake. They had weaknesses from a procedural Aspect however. HM Treasury, still in the midst of coping with bank bailouts took one look at the stakes and said they weren't funding it. Hence the deal that UKAD and Fury's legal team agreed to. Everyone can make their own minds up about what happened. I think people who follow boxing can make an educated guess, I know I have.
I know, I know! I wasnt going to do one but the allegations are still lingering on. I went through the fight frame by frame to look for evidence of cheating, I may also have upset DontaisBoxingNation! Let me know what you think, its a bit of a break from 5 in 5 if nothing else This content is protected
I think both Furys were on nandrolone and the wild boar excuse was always bull****. Much like Canelo and his Mexican beef excuse it seems the most likely scenario that he purposefully cheated. That said UKAD are a complete joke and need to be shut down and replaced with a competent body.
It’s not fact just because you say it is! Have you got some proof, links to official documents or videos of officials stating what you’re alleging ? Without those links, proof etc you’re just another fan spreading gossip
I don't intend to revisit this thread, as I said, but you can find all of this for yourself with a less than two minute google search. It is all factual, and in public domain.
If you're going to call Fury a cheat then you should take aim at the PED allegations. This glove nonsense is a total embarrassment but I guess Wilder fans are gluttons for shame post his ring attire excuse.
Also referring to the Fury clan as the Furies is pretty funny as the Furies is pretty funny considering the Furies role in Greek mythology. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erinyes
