    Both guys doing essentially the exact same thing at the same time is why both Joe C's and Svene's streaks of title defenses Both look bad.

    Calzaghe did so much more with his career unified undisputed, two weight champ , technically Sven was very sound ( with over 300 am fights I'm not surprised ) but Sven saying Aussie Anthony Mundine was his hardest fight says it all really , Joe Calzaghe imo would have handily beaten Sven .

    Anyone of note Sven struggled with Joe beat handily at the time , personally I reckon he had the beating of everyone @ 168lbs at the time and dispute not unifying earlier was the man , after he beat Lacy & Kessler any doubts anyone had vanished .

    Neither look bad. They have 2 of the best resumes in the division ever. Its a shame they never fought and I dont know why Sven didnt want to know about Calzaghe but they both have great resumes. Calzaghe has the better resume with Eubank and Kessler imo.

    At SMW the WBO has been involved in quite a few unifications, starting right at the beginning with Leonard/Hearns 2.
    There was also Eubank/Benn 2.
    Reid apparently didnt want to face Calzaghe when WBC champ and Woodhall lost before he had the fight with Calzaghe
