i thought Galahad won, remember a few saying similar at the time. Though others thought it was close and Warrington nicked it. Had Galahad been a bit more aggressive he’d have won relatively clearly.
I don't think he can be as effective fighting the top guys if he's more aggressive but I hope to see it so we can find out. I fear he's a a Mora type forever dragging his opponent into negative hard to watch fights he looks to edge.
Having watched the first for free, I would need to be addicted to opiates to even entertain paying a score to watch the rematch.
He's a tough watch in the ring and hard to like out of it. He can fight but it's hard to pick up the plaudits he thinks he deserves with both of those things going against you.
He's a very good boxer and I'm a boxing fan. The fact that you didn't see him landing more punches would suggest your dislike for him is affecting what you are seeing.
It's not about liking him. I don't find him a particularly likeable character out of the ring, but he won that fight. He had Warrington fight his fight with superior ring generalship. The whole fight Warrington looked desperate. Didn't have an answer because his usual swarming tactics were not working.
I also think sometimes people get carried away when a favourite doesn't do as well as expected and give a bit too much credit to the underdog sometimes. I haven't rewatched this fight as it was a complete stinker but it's not like there isn't opportunity for him to force a rematch it he wants to with a few big performances at world level.
Honestly, I don't even remember who was the favourite going into the fight. I just remember seeing Galahad winning and the bad taste in my mouth when he wasn't awarded the victory.
I had warrington just winning a close fight. Dont forget how down beat kid was in ring didn't act like he had just lived his dream and won a world title at the final bell. then the press room after. No complaints. Imo Lots of close rounds cud of gone either way but it was no robbery.

2 news articles. I didn't say I had warrington winning big. I said a close fight with lots of close rounds which is subjective. Its wasnt a robbery it was a close fight no question about it. Imo kid missed is chance that night. Warrington beats him more convincing next time round. #4-0
Also the press comment wasnt about news paper articles it was his post fight interview and dom ingle straight after the fight.
