So I'm rewatching GGG vs Jacobs

He was putting a whooping on GGG in the rematch however GGG made it close in how he fought back in the last 3 / 4 rounds. GGG was beat up, but showed heart and resiliency to make it respectable by the end. He was getting his ass kicked through 8 rounds but to his credit he fought back and made it close by how well he came back in the late stages.

 

deep down I know both fights were really close. No robbery , no schooling .

 

It was pretty close. Closer than Jacobs vs Canelo.

 

Sorry if it's already been said but I couldn't be bothered to read through all the bickering. I thought Jacobs adapted superbly and boxed a very good fight under extreme pressure. He has gone on to show what an excellent all round Boxer he is. As time goes by, it looks a better win for Golovkin.

 

Canelo didn't get his ass whooped but he did get beat.

 

The fight was close before the late rounds rally, that's why I had Golovkin winning. If you have the fight on disc you can slow it down when needed to see what really landed. I'm not trying to change anybody's mind. In my mind Golovkin won against Jacobs, and both Canelo fights, but they were all tough fights, especially GGG VS CANELO 2.

 

Golovkin took a beating, but he made the fight close.

Either way, Abel Sanchez and many boxers and ATGs think Canelo won.

The judges did too, so there's that.

 

I had GGG winning by anywhere between 2-5 points. I thought Golovkin fought a great fight as did Jacobs.

 

We have been thru this Abel Sanchez thing. I'm not going to post videos because it's not my thing, but Abel Sanchez said Canelo deserved the win because he came forward and made the fight close, but he personally thought Golovkin won. He said sometimes trainers are biased, but he thought GGG won the rematch. If it makes you feel good you can continue to post your little out of context post fight comments video.

 

I had it 6-6 so 114-113 with the 10-8 for golovkin

I will say Jacob's went down but he really wasn't hurt kind of a flash kd without it he may have lifted the title that night

I just rewatched his Alvarez fight, while I felt he lost to ggg and canelo he performed well and I feel doesn't get as much respect as he should.

 

Personally I thought Jacobs eeked out (won) that fight. I'm also in the minority that thinks ishe Smith really beat Daniel Jacobs.
