After his loss to Hagler he had a short break, re focused & a beat an up and coming American in 2 rounds ( John Collins ). Won back the European title. Took on Dennis Andries at LH for the World Title & lost. Eventually he got another Middleweight shot and lost to Frank Tate & retired. To sum up he was in an era of excellent Middleweights at world level. However he was a champ at British, European & Commonwealth level. Unfortunately he failed in his 3 world title fights. He still lives locally and was/is running a building Company
At Cruiser I have a soft spot for Glowacki for ending Huck's reign, and I really enjoy Breidis when he bothers to show up. At heavy I was a big Klitschko fan, with them gone of the recent champs Joshua is the one I prefer (makes Wlad's last stand look better if he does well). I am hoping for success from Usyk, Hunter, and Hrgovic out of the contenders and hope Jennings gets a good win before he hangs his gloves up for good.
Always have been a hwt fan, I like cruiser because it reminds me of the 40's-70's hwts who were big, strong and powerful but still in shape and athletic I pretty much watch 126 to hwt with 122 down a big blind spot in my knowledge both current and historic though HBO and DAZN's efforts at these weights has created an interest Its funny because in MMA I like the little guy fights but in boxing I prefer the heavier classes
