and that's why theres problems when you rate past fighters against current, I KNOW Louis's the better fighter p4p, but he has serious problems against a hungry young Tua, there would be quite a strength/power discrepancy, weights huge, chin also goes to Tua. Theres a number of heavies since that beat Louis h2h that don't have his longevity as champion. He has zero chance against the likes of Lewis, Klits, Fury, Joshua, way to big strong coupled with skills
I think Louis footwork is what gives Tua the oppurtunities, slick fellas could box Tua to a ud, I don't think Louis is slick enough or moves enough to pull off that kind of win. Its a KO, and I just think Tuas too big and strong to be hurt but Louis showed he could not only be hurt but stopped
Mate. Don't waste your time. THEY KNOW what you are saying is truth but never will admit it, the only card of the nostalgic guys is that this fight never happened so they will tell you nonsenses type " he did beat more ranked fighters" but they forget that they fought in different eras. The numbers and " ranked fighters" mean crap in a h2h match. Floyd patterson for example or marciano were pfp better than Tua by a mile but h2h I bet that Tua would destroy both them. Tua destroys ken norton too
Still doesn't convince me that he has the legs to keep healthy distance for 12 with him, if Galento could touch him its not impossible to envisage Tua leaving him out cold. Lewis showed how to deal with Tua, Ike showed us what happens if you don't move you get an immovable man in front of you that could take you out or stand with you all day long, eat big shots from a stronger man than Louis for the full fight and return heavy leather
Tua possessed a higher power*chin-level than any other fellow Louis fought. Galento/Baer drop scenario: Louis gets prob. stopped here. The way to beat Tua was on a good jab and movement. Even Lennox played it save round for round. Can Louis fight like this? Where´s the problem to check who he lost to before becoming an overweight past-it? What about putting Louis up in weightclass against the black Max Bear with 3x skill (Ibeabuchi) fellow and that primed H2H Lewis monster ? Tua-durable fighters? What about putting these in the 90s? Are they going 24 as well slugging it out with the Ibeabuchi and chasing Lennox? What about the mythical Baer winning a title in the soft 90s ?
